Ukraine: Falun Dafa Press Conference Attracts Widespread Media Attention (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On November the 19th 2003, Falun Dafa
practitioners in the Ukraine held a press conference to highlight the Chinese
governments persecution of Falun Gong in the UNIAN building (Ukraine News
information Agency). More than ten newspapers attended the press conference.
Dafa practitioners introduced Falun Gong to the reporters, talked about the
reasons behind the persecution of Falun Gong in China and let the people of
Ukraine know about the global lawsuits against Jiang and other officials
responsible for the persecution. Dafa practitioners also informed the media that
that the Chinese Embassy in the Ukraine has interfered with affairs in the
country by spreading lies about Falun Gong. á
On November the 21st, the practitioners held a peaceful
appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy that was again attended by journalists.
Practitioners truly seized the opportunity to clarify the facts to the media and
let them know more about Jiang Zemin's persecution against Falun Gong. They also
explained why it was important to appeal at the Embassy.
