Short Stories of People Awakening to the Truth of Falun Dafa

A woman from Beian City in Heilongjiang Province had kidney failure. She could not afford a kidney transplant and depended on dialysis every other day to keep her alive. Then the hospital announced that there was nothing more they could do. Her family could not help her either. A Dafa practitioner then read Zhuan Falun to her. After listening, this woman understood and said, "What a great book. I must learn it." After only about two weeks since learning Falun Dafa, all her tests were normal. The doctors, her family members and other patients were all surprised, and said, "What a great fortune that even such a severe disease can be cured!"

An old woman went to visit her daughter who was detained for selling illegal drugs. When others asked whom she went to visit, this woman was afraid of losing her reputation and said she went to visit detained Dafa practitioners. During the visit she asked her daughter whether there were any Dafa practitioners detained there. She told her daughter, "What you have done is very bad. You will lose virtue because of this. People who practice Falun Gong are all good and you should treat them well." Her daughter kept nodding her head and said in tears, "I know. Those practitioners who are detained in the same room have already taught me. I know they are the best people."

A mother was strongly against her son practicing Falun Gong. One day, the mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and had one breast removed. Later she was diagnosed with cancer in other parts of her body. She was very pessimistic.

One day, a Dafa practitioner met this woman and shared her experience about practicing Dafa. After listening, the woman asked this practitioner's age since the practitioner looked pretty young. The practitioner told her she was close to 50 years old. The woman was surprised. "I am just past 50 and you look 20 years younger. My son also practices Falun Gong. When the government banned Falun Gong I tried to stop him from practicing. Even though I beat and scolded him, he wouldn't stop practicing. Later on, my son was arrested and fined a lot of money. My health is getting worse and worse. I almost went blind from crying." The practitioner told this woman that all the government's propaganda was false. She asked her not to stop her son's practice and told her that good will be rewarded by good and evil will meet its retribution. The practitioner told the woman that if she doesn't feel well, then sincerely think "Falun Dafa is good." The woman nodded and said yes.

The woman then changed her hostile attitude towards Dafa. She went to the hospital several days later for a check-up. All the cancer was gone. After that, this woman supported her son's practice of Dafa and shared her experiences everywhere she went.
