Solemn Declaration by a Non-Practitioner
November 11, 2003 (Clearwisdom.net) I am not a practitioner, but I know that Falun Dafa is
good. My mother was illegally detained due to the fact that she went to Beijing
to validate the Fa. At the end of this October, the residential committee and
the security division staff asked her to copy the "guarantee letter" [A
statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and
guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for
Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.].
Since she refused, they called me in and told me: "Your mom is very stubborn,
she will be sent to the brainwashing class. In addition, she will have to submit
4000 Yuan to us [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker
in China.], and she is blacklisted by our supervisory level." As I was
afraid that they would take my mother away, I signed my mother's name on the
"guarantee letter" prepared by them. In order to make up for the things that I
have done, I hereby solemnly declare null and void the signature that I signed
on the "guarantee letter" on behalf of my mother at the Security Division of her
company on October 31, 2003. Wang Lin
