Chinese Citizens Call the State Security Bureau in Daqing City "Shameless"

(Clearwisdom.net) The Daqing City Police Force and the State Security Bureau in Daqin City, Heilongjiang Province are fighting with each other for opportunities to persecute Falun Gong because they know that Falun Gong practitioners do not fight back when they are beaten or sworn at. Thus, they see Falun Gong practitioners as an easy and safe target for persecution. The Chinese police force and the State Security Bureau take many measures in their persecution of Falun Gong, including ransacking practitioners' homes, extorting and stealing money from them during abductions and illegal detentions and collecting fines simply for practicing their Constitutional right to personal belief. Moreover, persecuting Falun Gong brings them golden opportunities for promotion. However, the Chinese police and the State Security Office cannot be any less indifferent to the real crimes rampant in China. In fact, they seem to be the least competent when it comes to actual police duties, least of all pursuing real criminals on the loose. The "biggest accomplishment" since the establishment of the State Security Bureau in Daqin City, has been persecuting the local group of people who cultivate and conduct themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. Citizens in Daqing City call the Daqing City police and the local State Security Bureau, "shameless."

The following case of persecution is just one example of the numerous "accomplishments" of the Daqing City police and the local State Security Bureau.

Around 5:00 a.m. on September 6, 2002, the Head of the State Security Bureau in Daqing City, Mr. Lin Shaojun, led a large squad of police officers to the outside of the apartment building where Dafa practitioners Mr. and Mrs. Guan Zhaoqi resided, attempting to abduct them from their home. Mr. Guan Zhaoqi refused to open the door of the apartment building, so Lin Shaojun called to Mr. Guan from the ground floor, "Open the door. We did not come to arrest you. We noticed that there was a water leak from the roof, so we want to help you repair the roof." Upon hearing such a ridiculous lie, many residents in the apartment building began to reproach Mr. Lin out loud, "Trust an idiot to run the State Security Bureau! It's nobody's business whether we need to repair our roof!"

Next, Mr. Lin Shaojun tried to spread a deceitful lie, "We have evidence that the United States government financially sponsors Falun Gong." How can they possibly have any real evidence? Falun Gong practitioners have nothing to hide. We Dafa practitioners pay for every penny of our truth-clarification work with our own money. Further, we do all truth-clarification work completely on our own.

Eventually the police officers climbed up to the balcony of Mr. Guan Zhaoqi's fourth floor apartment and smashed the windows. While invading the home and the privacy of Mr. and Mrs. Guan and damaging their personal property, the police officers had never once showed their proof of identification or any court-issued search warrant, nor did they offer any explanation for their illegal actions. More than ten police officers jumped on Mr. and Mrs. Guan, and beat them to the ground. They handcuffed them, covered their heads with bags, stuffed their mouths, and then dragged them into the police cars. The police then ransacked their apartment. They took the opportunity to steal their bank account proofs and CD certificates, valued at about 9,000 Yuan in cash [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China], personal computers, a printer, a CD burner, a VCD player, a VCR, and everything in their apartment worth something. [Note: In China and many other Asian countries, one only needs a bank account proof and a signature stamp, used when opening the bank account, to withdraw the money from the bank account.] Neighbors who witnessed the police's abduction and robbery kept saying, "These people are not police officers. They are bandits."

Mr. Guan Zhaoqi has been illegally sentenced to six years in prison, and is currently detained in Daqin City Prison. Mrs. Guan has been illegally sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp, and was detained and tortured in the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center until she was on the brink of death. Our sources indicate that Mrs. Guan is currently out on bail for medical treatment.

The taxpayers in China pay the salary of the staff at the State Security Bureau in Daqing City to protect the Chinese people, but they do nothing but commit crimes and help the tyrant Jiang perpetrate wicked deeds.
