A Journalist and a Manager's Just Words About Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom Net)
1. "What you told me is only one-tenth of the level of the persecution
against Falun Gong"
I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Hebei Province. On a sweltering day in
August 2002, when I was posting truth-clarification materials, someone saw it
and followed me in silence. I walked for quite a while before realizing
someone was following me. He stopped me and said, "The plainclothes police
have been assigned to each street with patrols twenty four hours a day. Aren't
you scared?" He showed me his press ID, "I work for a newspaper. The
authorities have planted agents using journalist ID's all over the country." I
talked with him about the true situation of Falun Gong for almost an hour.
"What you told me is only one-tenth of the level of the persecution against
Falun Gong," he urged me, "You must be cautious from now on, please don't
forget this! You are a good person!" Gazing at his receding figure, I wished
him good luck in my heart. No matter what kind of job he does, he will have a
wonderful future as long as he treats Falun Dafa well.
2. "After thousands years of advocating the principles of Truthfulness,
Compassion and Tolerance, why is it banned now?"
When a development manager from a company went to dinner with some guys, he
suddenly thought about something, "I've no idea who pushed those materials
through the door yesterday. It says that the propaganda slandering Falun Gong
on TV is all lies."
The others nodded their heads, "Yes, without a doubt."
The manager added, "Falun Gong must be amazing, otherwise why is Jiang
trying like crazy to beat it? They are just practicing exercises. Just let
them go all out to do the exercises, what would be wrong with that? After
thousands years of advocating the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and
Tolerance, why is it banned now? I really can't understand it!"
