Directors of a Police Station in Xiafei Village, Kaiyuan County, Tieling City, Liaoning Province Severely Hurt in a Car Accident

Police station director Jing Dawei and vice director Zhang Baochun, of Xiafei Village, burned Dafa books, audio tapes, and video tapes that had been illegally confiscated from the houses of Falun Dafa practitioners. In the summer of 2001, they lost control of their car. Jing Dawei suffered severe brain injuries, leaving him mentally disabled. Zhang Baochun's leg was severely injured.

Su Lianyan lives in Xiafei Village, Kaiyuan County, Tieling City. Under the pressure of the persecution she gave up her belief in Dafa and revealed details about Falun Dafa practitioners to the police. In the summer of 2001 she contracted a strange illness. She was unable to recover even after hospital treatment and passed away 20 days later. She was 35 years old.

Three Cases of Retribution in Wei County, Hebei Province

Wang Guang'an of Anzhuang Village, Yali Town, Wei County, Hebei Province, often slandered Dafa. One day while harvesting wheat, he caught his hand in the machinery and cut off one of his fingers and severely hurt another.

In June 2001, a man in Shuangjing Village was building a house when a Falun Dafa practitioner passed by and told him the facts about the persecution. The villager responded by defaming Dafa. At around noon, he fell from the roof and landed on his knees, hurting them badly.

In Shuanjing Village, Wei County, Hebei Province, a man was very disrespectful to Dafa. Suddenly he was struck and injured by lightening.

A Lawless Official in Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province Overdosed on Alcohol and Died

Zhang Feng, vice general secretary of Xinjian Coal Mine Party Committee of Jingmei Group Corporation in Heilongjiang Province, was responsible for carrying out persecution against Falun Gong. At the end of December 2002, he suddenly died while drinking alcohol with security staff.

Evil is Met with Retribution in Tonghua City, Jilin Province

Wang Huali, the director of Tonghua City Railway Hospital, cursed the founder of Falun Dafa and his teachings. Some practitioners told him the heavenly principle that "good is rewarded with good, and evil meets with evil" to make him stop cursing, but he replied: "I don't believe you. I have not received any punishment yet." Wang Huali was killed in a car accident in 2001, while others in the same car were fine.

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
