"It Is Truly Wonderful to Practice Cultivation in Falun Dafa"

(Introduction: Every time I can overcome major or minor difficulties and detach myself from them, it is because I have enlightened to principles Teacher has taught us. After I discover my attachments, I am bathed in the immeasurable warmth and wonderfulness of the Buhdda-light. I always tell myself, "Practicing cultivation is truly great; practicing cultivation in Falun Dafa is truly wonderful!" Especially when I am sharing my joy with my non-practitioner friends, I often say, "It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!"

Today, I offer this article as a New Year's Greetings to our most respected Master, so as to express the deepest gratitude from the depths of my heart. Thank you Teacher! Happy New Year!)

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" I can't remember how many times I have told this to people. During the past several years of cultivation practice in Falun Dafa, during the coming and going of wind and rain, accompanied by tears, tribulations and great pain that everyday people would hardly be able to bear, we were still able to follow the principles taught by Teacher, and conscientiously look inside of ourselves to find our shortcomings.

Our compassionate Teacher has been helping us to purify ourselves to reach the purest and highest realm. When we discover and get rid of our attachments, we find that what we have been given is so incomparably great that it is impossible to find in the human world. Only great Buddha, Taos or Gods can reach these lofty realms.

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" At home, I arrange everything in an orderly fashion. When my family eats the delicious and nutritious meals I prepare, they appreciate my efforts from the bottom of their hearts, saying: "Since you started practicing cultivation in Falun Dafa, you have indeed changed a lot. Not only have you not fallen ill during the past years, but you have also become happier and more considerate of others. Moreover, you have taken better care of us, and showed us more loving concern. We are happy for you." I would answer them, "It is all because of our Teacher's guidance that I can now behave this way. I will keep practicing cultivation and continue improving myself."

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" At work, I take hardship as pleasure and consider others first in everything I do, and have advanced in my career. When my friends praise me and express their appreciation to me, I answer, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Master told me to work and treat others like this. He taught me to consider others first and be a good person under every circumstance. I will keep working hard to cultivate myself."

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" When my child receives awards in school and my friends praise me for having properly educated my child, I tell them how different my attitude has become since I started practicing cultivation in Falun Dafa. I tell them that, until recently, I had been wrong and not listened to my 11-year-old son, although he charitably comforted me and said, "Mom, it doesn't matter. Don't worry, you will do better next time." I was touched and asked him, "Why are you so kind to me? Why don't you blame me?" He said, "I learned this behavior from you!"(I was touched to the core, because I realized that by my change in words and deeds, the seed of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" of Dafa were planted deeply into my child's heart, and have affected his words and behavior.) Upon hearing this, my friend immediately said, "This is something only the righteous Fa can do. The righteous Fa can influence people around you, and they will feel the goodness about you. After I'm done with my work, I will cultivate in your Master's way too!"

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" I wear neat clothing in social settings and my manner is poised. Through my words and behavior Dafa's dignity is manifested and a cultivator's demeanor is displayed. When others inquire appreciatively, "Where did you learn such noble etiquette and demeanor?" I would mildly and indirectly let them know that, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. The righteousness and goodness manifested in my person are exactly what Dafa has given me. The not-so-righteous [part of me] has not completed its cultivation yet, and is waiting to be rectified!"

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" When I walk on the streets of Chinatown wearing buttons that say, "I support Falun Dafa!" or "Falun Dafa is good!" when I shop in stores, and park my car (there are Dafa stickers on my car as well), my kindness, my uncommon demeanor, and my words and behavior frequently cause everyday people to hold me in high esteem. They look at the buttons, and then look at me, and give me a friendly smile. In those moments I feel that everyday people have been able to see the Buddha-light manifested in me. I suddenly realize that I need to put more effort into studying the Fa, and raise my xinxing, so as to let more people feel the greatness of Dafa.

"It is truly wonderful to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa!" When others remark that I look younger than my true age and that I am extremely energetic, when others seek secret ways of keeping their skin as silky and shiny as mine, when others ask me what fine food and exercise have given me such a healthy body, I confidently announce: "Falun Gong!" Only Falun Dafa could have truly turned me from an unhealthy and weak person who worried too much into the healthy, beautiful, happy, confident and strong person that I am now. When I practice the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance of Falun Dafa in daily life, when my heart is filled with sincerity, kindness and great forbearance, my whole body will carry positive energy from the universe. This positive energy will restrain and correct all the cells and thoughts that are not righteous, and I will be free of bad thoughts. I will be happy, and reach the state of being healthy, both mentally and physically. When a person's words and behavior are very righteous, pure and benevolent, his look will become more and more decent and beautiful; the original beauty of the universe will be reflected like a bright light on human beings. In a word, I would say, "Practicing cultivation is truly great, especially if one practices a righteous way -- Falun Dafa, it is truly wonderful!"
