Fourteen Dafa Practitioners Abducted in Fuxin City; Eleven Sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

Recently, in Fuxin City of Liaoning Province, the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems), the Internal Security Division of the Fuxin City Police Department, and the National Security Team from Haizhou Police Department collaborated with each other, and kidnapped many Falun Gong practitioners one after another. Just before the Chinese New Year, Falun Gong practitioner Lu Yanping and others gathered some people to help them to finish a construction project. Among the people who came to help were many Falun Gong practitioners. Unexpectedly, on the third day, the police suddenly besieged the lunch area of the construction site and kidnapped 14 practitioners without legal grounds or reason.

They tried to force practitioners to write the so-called "Four Statements" [promising not to practice Falun Gong, stating regret over practicing in the past, declaring separation from Falun Gong, and denouncing Falun Gong] and to pay large amounts in fines. The practitioners sternly rejected their demands. Among the 14 abducted practitioners, 11 were sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. Their families were not notified, and no one knows the current status of these 11 practitioners. We have no information about whether they are alive or dead .
