Torture Death of Practitioner Peng Fangjian from Suining City, Sichuan Province at the Hands of People from Renli Town Police Station and the Lingquansi Detention Center

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Peng Fangjian, male, 45 years old, was illegally arrested at his home on January 28, 2003 by Yao from Renli Town government, policemen Yuan Xiaolin, Hu Zongcheng and Zhang Kangping from Renli Town Police Station. Peng Fangjian was first detained at the Renli Town Police Station and then transferred to the Lingquansi Detention Center three days later. Peng Fangjian protested the illegal arrest with a hunger strike. On February 10, 2003, he was tortured to death. The details are under investigation.

The authorities hastily cremated his body in order to cover up their crime. According to his relatives at the crematorium, the deceased had his eyes and mouth wide open. Both arms were outstretched, and both hands were firmly clenched into fists. There was dried blood on the back of his skull. A once strong and healthy man became emaciated within merely 14 days.
