Preliminary Understanding of "The Grand Manifestation of Gods and Buddhas Unfolds"

(Clearwisdom.net) In "Foretelling the Fa's Rectification of the Human World" Teacher mentioned: "the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas unfolds." Teacher also talked about in recent teachings that there will be period of "the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas unfolds" during the history of Fa-rectification. Some practitioners have experienced many times of "the grand manifestation of their divine power," however, the period of "the grand manifestation of divine power" by all practitioners is yet to come. We knew that there were several instances of the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas in the history, which played important roles to save the world and the people during the respective periods. However, the modern "atheism" posed a great obstacle for people to obtain the Fa and to learn the truth. It is my opinion that the early coming of the period of "the grand manifestation of the divine power" will play an active role of enabling more people to obtain the Fa. What are factors that prevent of Dafa practitioners from "the grand manifestation of their divine power?"

1. Conventional mentalities: "The state of everyday people's society," as we understood and viewed, is the most degenerated state of human society, and this state is not right. During Fa-rectification, we should destroy old notions, straighten everything that is not righteous, and establish new and righteous concepts. Therefore, the real "state of everyday people's society" is created collectively by our practitioners. In this regard, we must destroy the conventional mentalities formed in our mind as soon as possible. We must try to understand (the state of everyday people's society) on the basis of the Fa.
2. The separation is created by the old forces: Teacher says in Touring North America To Teach the Fa, "...the old forces have separated the surface and Dafa disciples' original natures..." [provisional translation subject to further improvement]. This layer of separation of old forces severely limits the manifestation of Dafa disciples' divine power in this surface dimension. Thus, we must concentrate our righteous thoughts to eliminate this separation of old forces within our bodies.
3. The mature and stable mind nature: Although we all understand the state of supernormal abilities, the question is whether we can remain unmovable when all the supernormal abilities genuinely manifest on the surface of our bodies. Teacher has told us stories about the almost-Arhat that had the attachment to happiness and fearfulness. Thus, we must fully prepare ourselves.
4. The basis and righteous thought: The purpose of "the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas unfolds" is to save the sentient beings and to validate Dafa, not to seek "the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas unfolds."

We want "the grand manifestation of Gods and Buddhas unfolds" not just for saving the sentient beings and validating Dafa, but more importantly, Teacher has clearly told us in his Fa-teachings that it is the great cosmic change. It is essential that we upgrade ourselves genuinely and collectively in the Fa principles and our true bodies to catch up with the progress of Fa-rectification.

During cultivation, I felt that some practitioners and myself are far from the requirement of the progress of Fa-rectification and not very clear either on the Fa principles. The thoughts above are from my own understanding. It is only for reference. I hope that fellow practitioners can point out the places that are incorrect. I expect that more practitioners will write good articles about their understanding of the Fa to share with us and to help upgrade us collectively.
