In the omnipresent powerful field of Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts, the evil forces are quickly crumbling. The Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp, one of the major places for the evils to persecute Dafa practitioners, has become a showcase of the evils' collapse.

This is where much horrible torture of Dafa practitioners has occurred. Since the beginning of 2000, police officers under the control of the evil forces carried out the most insane, cruel and violent mistreatment of Dafa practitioners. But while this was happening, police officers lied to the outside world, saying they had been "educating and persuading people".

Police officers chose a few collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] as their "tools" or "accomplices". Though the camp used many ruthless methods, Dafa practitioners became even firmer and took the initiative to suffocate the evils. Thus, the results were far from "ideal." Only one or two Dafa practitioners who could not endure the pain of torture accepted the so-called "transformation," but apparently that was not their true wish, and they were grieved in their hearts for so doing. The camp guards were always trying to devise new, deceptive, methods which could be effective in large scale for use in their brainwashing campaign.

Since many cases in which Dafa practitioners were tortured, both mentally and physically, were exposed to the outside world, one by one, those in charge of the camp started seeking alternative methods. During this period of time, two big changes happened in the camp. Firstly they built new buildings, planted new grass and flowers to beautify the camp; Secondly, lies concocted by the collaborators were widely spread in which they misrepresented Dafa at will. A few people who could not endure the long term mental and physical torture tried to find an escape by misrepresenting Dafa as a pretext, and compromised under the seduction of the evil.

That period when misrepresentation of Dafa was widely spread was the worst period of time to Dafa practitioners in the Tuanhe camp. Any attachments to human notions could lead one astray because the evils were making use of every loophole. When some Dafa practitioners could not tell the difference between the true kindness and hypocritical words, they would get lost and cause losses to Dafa while confusing other Dafa practitioners. Some collaborators were active in taking part in the "educating and helping" after having been brainwashed, but police officers did not respect those who went astray.

Lies cannot last. The material environment did become much better, but this was just staged to trick the outside world. Yes, one person, one bed with clean sheets and square-folded quilts; but if you know that the Dafa practitioner who was supposed to sleep here was not allowed to use the bed for 18 consecutive days and was forced to sit on cylinders for "retrospection," you start to realize that the revamped material environment was designed to be photographed in order to deceive the international community.

The "educating and persuading" as called by the group head changed in it's content as time elapsed. Smiling, acting concerned, and persuasion gradually turned into shouting, wild abuse, and even punching and kicking. Collaborators turned a blind eye to all this while saying they had "learned to care for others." Those so-called "self-transformers" gradually forgot what is good; they might say dirty words over a trivial issue, or curry favors with the group leaders at others' expense. All these facts showed us the true situation of being "transformed." A noble cultivator was "transformed" into a shameless person. The videos played in the groups were full of lies and misrepresentations of Dafa. Right and wrong were confounded, but the truth would reveal itself through the loopholes left by the evildoers.

In fact, the many loopholes displayed by those police officers and collaborators, and the lessons learned from the negative experiences, woke up the deceived people one by one. Dafa practitioners resumed the state of looking at problems with righteous thoughts, returned to the state of following Dafa closely, and went back to the way of "a Dafa practitioner in the Fa-rectification period."

Since most Dafa practitioners had seen through the fraud played by the camp officials, many of them declared invalid what they had written under pressure to the police officers, and reaffirmed their true standing with Dafa. This marked the total failure of the police officers' brainwashing efforts.

But under the pressure from the higher authorities, they had to try to prevent the large-scale declarations from Dafa practitioners from appearing, so they tried to scheme up another plan. But, whatever they tried, their efforts were futile. Those that had been brainwashed wanted to invalidate their previous guarantee letters. Those who were firm became even firmer; the newly arrested Dafa practitioners are much harder to be brainwashed. The transformation effort in the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp is currently at a standstill. Police officers and leaders have lost their patience, and are frequently enraged, cursing, or beating Dafa practitioners.

The Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp asked for the help of all those across the country in order to avoid defeat. The camp management also reported to the forced labor bureau in hopes of finding an urgent aid. The envoys from the bureau started working, the police officers sent to gain experience came back, but not many changes took place. Then they showed their cruel faces: "If it does not work, than use coercive measures. Never mind if they are truly transformed or not, let's finish our task first." So the new round of "before the Chinese new year breaking-the-shell campaign" began. Torturing steadfast Dafa practitioners once again came out into the open. No sleeping, physical punishment, threatening, etc, all became the police officers' retaliatory acts toward Dafa practitioners, and also the intimidation of all detainees.

All Dafa practitioners are actively using their righteous thoughts and actions to sweep away the remnants of evil.
