Falun Dafa is the Pure Land -- A Teacher Who Refused to Accept Gifts

(Clearwisdom.net) I went to a school to meet a Falun Dafa practitioner. It was noon and the classes had just finished. She asked a dozen students to stay and gave each of them a bag and a piece of paper with a message. She pointed to a large bag on the desk and said, "This is a very expensive present, I have to return it and thank them in person. You can exchange the other presents and take them back." She then asked a student to read her message, "Thank you for your present. I regard myself as your child's teacher as well as a parent. You don't have to give me gifts. I will care for your child like a mother because I have a personal belief that is wonderful and it requires me to do so." The child asked her innocently, "Teacher, what kind of belief do you have that is so wonderful? Please tell me and I would believe it too." In the hallway, there were many certificates and pictures on the wall showing all kinds of rewards the teacher had received.

I went to the Dean's Office and told them what I had seen. They said, "Those Falun Gong practitioners in our school are all excellent teachers, with both ability and moral integrity. One teacher practiced Falun Gong and when she knew other teachers could not come to work, she covered for them without even being asked. Another was an excellent teacher, but received unfair treatment for practicing Falun Gong. However, she did not complain and even said she would try to do a better job. Today the moral standard in society has been falling so rapidly, where can you find a pure land? Falun Dafa is the only pure land!"
