(Clearwisdom.net) [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner Zheng Guoxin From Langfang Is Detained at the
Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp and Is on the Verge of Dying Zheng Guoxin (male), 36, a university graduate, worked for the Langfang City's Goods and
Materials Bureau. In 2001 he was illegally arrested by the Tianjing City Police Department while
clarifying the truth of Dafa to people in the Tanggu district of Tianjing city. He was then sent to
the Tianjing Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp, where he was tortured and beaten. Police officers in the
Shuangkou Camp tried to force him to write guarantees to sever all ties with Dafa, but Zheng Guoxin
refused. He firmly believes in Dafa and Teacher, and has been on a hunger strike for over a year to
request his unconditional release. Although he appears skeletal, he remains on the hunger strike.
The camp forcibly feeds him through his nostrils. His mother is extremely distraught because of her
son's suffering. [Huhehaote, Inner Mongolia, China] Chu Guizhi, a Dafa Practitioner From Henan Province, Is
Detained at the Huhehaote Xinhua Clothing Factory for Nearly Two Years Chu Guizhi (female) went to Beijing many times after July 1999 to explain the facts about Dafa.
She once held up a banner in Tiananmen for a few minutes that said
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and then returned home safely. One time she was
arrested in Tiananmen Square while shouting "Dafa is good." She was then detained at the
Miyun Detention Center in Beijing for 9 days. Since she did not identify herself or respond to any
requests from the police officers, she was released after 9 days. In March 2003, she was again arrested by police while she was preparing Dafa truth clarifying
materials and brutally tortured in a detention center. She was sentenced to three years in a forced
labor camp. She has been detained at the Huhehaote Xinhua clothing factory, which is actually a
forced labor camp (phone: 86-471-6514808), for about two years. Her family went to visit her a few
times but they were not allowed to see her. They were only allowed to leave money or clothing for
her. It is unknown if she is still alive. [Jinzhou City, Hebei Province] Two Dafa Practitioners Are Illegally Detained In Shihongzhuang, Jizhou City, Dafa practitioners Fan Ruihua and Zhao Yanjun (female) were
detained. Wu Changbin was released. A few days ago, two other Dafa practitioners were also arrested,
but their whereabouts are unknown. [Qingdao, Shandong City] Jiang's Regime Focuses on Persecuting Falun Gong, but Pays No Attention
to the Hardships of Ordinary People There have been over ten Dafa practitioners sentenced to jail in Qingdao city, over a hundred
others illegally sent to forced labor camps, and even more forced to leave their homes to avoid
persecution. Jiang's regime has caused social instability in China. Before the 16th National
Congress of the Chinese Communist Party began, over 500 veterans from the Beihai navy fleet
requested that they be treated fairly. In December 2002, thousands of workers at the national No. 3,
4, and 5 textile factories went on strike, and asked that the salaries owed to them be paid. Some of
the workers have not been paid for half a year, and their families are having a hard time surviving.
However, those that ask for their salaries are threatened with being fired. [A county in north China] Dafa Practitioners Form Study Groups Local elderly practitioners have formed Fa-study groups to study Dafa from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
every day. They read two chapters of the book Zhuan Falun each time. They also organized an
experience sharing conference in which 9 Dafa practitioners shared their cultivation experiences.
