Letter from China on Lunar New Year's Eve: A Year of Fa Rectification

Dear Fellow practitioners at Minghui Net:

Greetings! First, I want to send New Year's greetings to you. As the traditional Chinese festival is approaching, we are concerned about the fellow practitioners who lost their freedom but are still persisting in Dafa practice. We miss our benevolent and magnificent Master. Please greet Master for us. Master, your disciples wish you a Happy New Year!

Two years ago I took a wrong path. With benevolent Master's guidance and fellow practitioners' selfless help, I returned to the path of cultivation. Before the Chinese New Year last year I wrote down these words with solemnity, "Be an open and dignified Dafa practitioner." One year has passed in the blink of an eye. This year, whenever pursuit of comfort, attachment to fear and other human attachments might surface, I will always remember the opportunity Master has given me and I will remember the word "dignity." I know that Master is always taking care of us and is looking at how we conduct ourselves.

I could feel Master's benevolence throughout this whole past year. When I wanted to print Dafa truth-clarifying materials, a printer was made available; when I bought an MP3 player to listen to Master's Fa lecture, but didn't know how to convert rm format to mp3 format, related articles appeared on Minghui Net; when I bought a CD burner but didn't know what software to use, I again saw related articles online; when I became attached to Dafa practitioners' music and downloaded too much of it, three CDs got broken - yet I didn't know what I did wrong and asked for Master's hints. That same day I read an article on Minghui Net that accurately pointed out my attachment.

A fellow practitioner who was released from a labor camp took a wrong path. Several practitioners, under Master's arrangement, met her the same day and helped her to realize her mistake.

A former practitioner who fell ill after giving up Dafa practice decided to return to cultivation. She ran into several determined practitioners within a few days, although she had never met them during the past two years.

While I felt Master's benevolence, I realized that Dafa practitioners are one whole body. Master has long before arranged our cultivation paths, and he is observing how we walk them. If we aren't diligent, we won't be able to keep up with Fa rectification. As the saying goes, "Rowing a boat upstream, not to advance is to fall back." As long as we are diligent and determined in cultivation, every step is following the right course.

These are only my personal understandings. Please point out anything inappropriate.

I didn't plan to write this letter, but when I saw non-practitioners hustling about to celebrate the holiday, it occurred to me that there is something far more worth commemorating. I miss Master very much and fellow practitioners whom I know and don't know, who are in jail. As a part of a whole body, I know what to do. Master told us, "On the rest of the journey, may you fulfill, with godlike righteous thoughts and righteous actions, the grand vows you made before history!" ("New Year's Greetings from Master")
