Cases of Dafa Practitioners Being Persecuted in Shuangyashan Area, Heilongjiang Province

Female Dafa practitioners Sun Fengjie and Wang Guanrong were arrested and sent to the Fuli Detention Center on December 7, 2002. No one knows where they are currently being detained. While both practitioners were jailed at the detention center from December 11 to December 12, the Shuangyashan City "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], police department and national security brigade sent in 16 policemen to interrogate them. The policemen covered these two ladies' heads with plastic bags and did not allow them to sleep for two consecutive days. They also put them through various tortures.

Dafa practitioners Li Chunqing and Liu Mingyu from Fuli County, Shuangyashan City, were kidnapped during the 16^th Party Congress, and sent to Fuli Detention Center, where they have been jailed since then. We hope that practitioners who see this news send forth righteous thoughts to help them get out of the evil's den.

On January 6, 2003, Dafa practitioner Hu Guangming was taken away on the street by policeman Wang Jun from the Nanshan Police Station. At about 9 a.m. on January 17, Wang Jun came to Hu Guangming's home telling his family that Hu had been arrested. When asked why, Wang Jun said "For no reason." Hu Guangming is now still being illegally detained at the detention center.
