Seven Large Trees Cut Down Simply To Prevent Falun Dafa Practitioners from Hanging Banners
(Clearwisdom.net) During the 3-year persecution of Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners, the lawless officials
from Babaishang Property Management Company in the Honggang District of Daqing City repeatedly used
the company's police officers as well as personnel from the "610 Office" [an agency
specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration
in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners
and send them to police stations, prisons, and brainwashing classes. These officials relentlessly
spied on and followed practitioners, sometimes going to their homes to make arrests and sometimes
making phone calls to harass and threaten practitioners' family members. They forced practitioners
to write "promise statements" to give up Falun Dafa, stopped paying their salaries and
bonuses, and even imposed fines on them. The Director of Babaishang Property Management Company also hired people to remove Falun Dafa
truth-clarifying posters. Outside workers were also hired to take down Falun Dafa banners, some of
which were hung in the tops of tall trees and could not be easily reached, so the Babaishang
officials had the huge trees cut down so that the banners could be removed. In one instance, there
were seven enormous trees in a residential compound with Falun Dafa banners hanging from each one.
All seven of these big trees were toppled. They will really do anything in order to maintain this
evil persecution. March 2, 2003
