Practitioner Bi Jiaxin, 58, Tortured to Death in Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Bi Jiaxin is a 58-year-old male practitioner from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. On April 19, 2002, police from Lianjiangkou Police Station in Jiamusi City arrested him for posting truth clarifying materials. He was sent to the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp. In the labor camp, he went on a hunger strike to protest maltreatment. The disciplinary police-team force-fed him with drugs, which caused him to have diarrhea for over three months. Finally he was so thin and weak that he could not eat any food. In October 2002, he was sent back home to seek medical treatment. Two months later, Mr. Bi's home was searched and seized by police. He was detained in the Jiamusi Detention Center again and subjected to brutal torture. Mr. Bi's health was devastated and he was in critical condition because of the torture. On January 16, 2003, the detention center sent him back home trying to avoid responsibility for his death. Mr. Bi died at home ten days later.

*********

April 19, 2002, practitioner Bi Jiaxin from Jiamusi City was found posting Falun Gong flyers in the public. Yang XX, a policeman from Lianjiangkou Police Station in Jiamusi City, kidnapped him and took him to the police station. Bi Jiaxin refused to reveal his name and was brutally beaten. Later he was sent to Jiamusi City Detention Center and put in a cell where his use of the restroom was restricted. He refused to recite the prison rules to protest his detention as he had done nothing wrong. For that, the inmates fiercely kicked his lower back. He was in such pain that he could not lie down during the night. The guards also took all of his belongings.

On April 27, 2002, Bi Jiaxin and 43 other practitioners were illegally sent to Jiamusi Labor Camp. No document of the sentence was provided.

Bi Jiaxin and other male practitioners were allocated to Brigade No.2, which specializes in persecuting Falun Gong. They were disciplined like criminal prisoners. They were not allowed to sit on the bed unless it was bedtime. They could only sit on a small bench. No talking was allowed. Inmates watched them. They had to go through drills, such as jogging and memorizing the rules, and watching the brainwashing videos that slander Dafa. The camp used collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] to deceive, mislead and threaten the newly detained practitioners. The practitioners resisted the measures used to control them, and continued to do the exercises. But the guards forced them to stop. On May 13, the practitioners started a hunger strike to protest the persecution of their practice of Falun Gong. A few days later, they were force-fed which, in fact, is itself a brutal method of tortured used by the police. Force feeding results in the victim having a raw throat, feeling very dizzy, and an uncomfortable stomach.

Later, the guards began to use a new drug on Bi Jiaxin. He was forced fed and forcibly injected. But none of these things worked. He developed loose bowls, and became thinner and thinner. His teeth became loose. He was unable to eat any food, felt listless and dizzy, lost control of his bowel movements and fully depended on other practitioners to take care him for his daily life. Fearing that he would die inside the labor camp, the police sent him home in October 2002 for medical treatment.

During his detention, Bi Jiaxin's wife was forced to divorce him by local government officials. When Bi Jiaxin got out, he had nowhere to go. Other practitioners learned of the situation and took care of him. He was recovering but still had diarrhea.

Around December 25, 2002, the policemen from Qianjin District Police Station searched his home, took 2 CD burners and some CDs. Bi Jiaxin and practitioner Zhang Puhe were arrested and brutally tortured. During police custody, Bi Jiaxin's health deteriorated quickly. On January 16, 2003, the detention center released him before, attempting to avoid responsibility for his death. Ten days later, on January 26, Bi Jiaxin died at home.

We seriously warn those police of Qianjin District Police Station, especially Wang Huamin and Wang Lianmin, and all other police who are actively persecute Dafa practitioners: we have recorded all the evil deeds you committed against Dafa practitioners. Ahead of you are the righteous sentences and karmic retribution.
