On December 6, 2002, the Qincheng District Court in Tianshui City, Gansu Province illegally held a trial of eight Falun Dafa practitioners. When the presiding judge read something slandering Dafa, the practitioners shouted loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Falun Dafa is righteous!" "Don't defame Dafa!" At the same time, they started to send forth righteous thoughts. The police, flustered and exasperated, forcibly handcuffed the practitioners from behind. However, the practitioners' voice of justice rang out continuously. The presiding judge hastily finished the court verdict and ended the trial.

Li Xuelian (female) was illegally sentenced to eight years in prison after spending six months in detention. Li Jingwei (female) is currently being detained in the Harbin Female Prison. She was illegally sentenced to a term of nine years in prison.

On December 2, 2002, Wuhan practitioners successfully hung up three huge truth-clarifying banners on the high-tension line over the gate of the brainwashing class and on the gazebo opposite the brainwashing class. They also put up many stickers with words such as "Stop persecuting Falun Gong" on the big iron gate of the brainwashing class and other nearby areas. Truth-clarifying materials and VCDs were distributed to the mailbox near the gate.

Wuhan practitioners have never ceased clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa through all possible means, especially to the organizations that are directly involved in persecuting Falun Dafa. They have distributed truth-clarifying materials and CDs to thousands of residents throughout the city.

During October of last year, Qiao Honghui, a policeman from the Malanchun Police Substation of Shahe Area, Dalian City, abducted Falun Dafa practitioner Wan Xiaohui and sent him to the Dalian Forced Labor Camp, where he was illegally sentenced to a term of two years' "reeducation" through forced labor. He has been subjected to severe persecution in the labor camp. We hope that practitioners in Liaoning Province will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil elements behind the thugs persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.

Cui Xiangjun, a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Changping District of Beijing, became homeless and destitute a year ago in order to avoid illegal detention and persecution. One day before the Fifth Session of the Ninth National People's Conference, the members of the Changping District "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], and police from the Public Security Bureau and the National Security Bureau, illegally broke into private residences. They arrested Cui Xiangjun's wife, practitioner Li Mingxia, and Cui Xiangjun's sister (a non-practitioner). Currently, only the elderly grandmother and the 10-year-old grandson are left alone at home in misery. The police arrested Li Mingxia and Mr. Cui's sister in an attempt to force them to disclose his whereabouts.

Xie Guiying (female, 63 year old) was arrested while distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarifying flyers and VCDs in Hengyang County, her hometown, on March 2. The next day, police went to search her home. A fellow practitioner named Ou Qiaoqiao (female, 19 years old) happened to be at her place, and was arrested as well. The police confiscated a computer and a printer.

Feng Liping should have been released on January 15 after completion of a two-year term of forced labor. However, her term was extended by another four months for no reason, and she will be sent to a brainwashing center for intensified persecution.

Jin Qihui finished his term in a forced labor camp on January 28. However, instead of being released, he was transferred to the Xinlongshan Brainwashing Class for intensified persecution.
