Returning to Dafa Cultivation, Exposing the Evil: Open Letter from Practitioner Xia Ying To Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp

I am Xia Ying, a Dafa practitioner in Jilin City, Jilin Province. In October 1999, I was sent to the Jilin Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp. There, I suffered from various brutal tortures. Consequently, I lost my ability to reason, my mind became unclear and I yielded. I walked the wrong path for a while and led some practitioners astray. When I was released after more than a year in the labor camp, my mind cleared and I solemnly declared on Minghui that the words I uttered under extreme pressure were null and void. Then, I returned my cultivation to the right path based on Dafa. Again, I immersed my whole mind and body into the current of Fa rectification.

Since the prison guards were unaware that I had returned to Dafa cultivation, they sent me an "invitation letter" in the name of the labor camp, eagerly requesting me to return to assist with "brainwashing" practitioners who remain steadfast and unyielding in the Fa. I wrote an open letter to the police in the labor camp from the perspective of a once-lost particle that has returned to Dafa. I wrote this letter to expose the persecution of Dafa practitioners in the labor camp and to unmask the hypocritical face of the prison police, and to warn practitioners who have gone astray and the wicked persons who have committed crimes against Dafa and Dafa practitioners: Wake up right now, cherish this unique opportunity. Don't make your eternal life one of deep regret just because of a temporary delusion. Below is the text of my letter.

An Open Letter to the Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp in Jilin Province

To All Officials and Police in Heizuizi Women Labor Camp:

Your so-called "invitation letter" has been received. It is very painful for me to recall the experience of my 377 days in detention. I suffered from all kinds of humiliation and torture. Due to the extreme torture suffered by my body and soul, my mind was shaken. I succumbed to the pressure after losing my rationality and wisdom. I did what a Dafa practitioner should never do. I not only walked the wrong path myself, I also led some other practitioners astray. I brought a negative light to Dafa and have left a blemish on the path of my cultivation and Fa-rectification. You may not be aware of my current situation. You see, coercion cannot change people's hearts. For Dafa practitioners who have the courage to walk on the path of truth, the only way is to face one's mistake, to return to the right path, to give up selfishness, and to immerse one's whole body and soul into the magnificent act of spreading the Fa, rectifying the Fa, clarifying the truth, and save sentient beings.

In your so-called "invitation letter" to me, you absurdly called the labor camp where Dafa practitioners are ruthlessly tortured my "mother's house". This is not only an insult to a Dafa practitioner, but also a cover-up for your own crimes.

I was arrested in October 1999 and was released over a year later. During this period of time, I was forced to do hard labor in the fourth brigade. I was only allowed to sleep for one hour a day. I suffered from beatings with fists and boots from criminal offenders, and was shocked with an electric baton for a long time by Guan Wei, the leader of the brigade. The brigade leaders Zhang Guimei and Li Xiaohua, beat me brutally. Prison guard Han sometimes tortured me with various instruments. Since I practiced the Falun Gong exercises, I was force fed, illegally injected with unidentified drugs, and suffered from relentless beatings at the hands of brigade leader Xi Guirong and prison guard Wang Xiaolan. For further clarifying the truth of the persecution of Falun Dafa to the prison police, I suffered from beatings by a group of prison guards. Prison guard Jin, Wang Xiaolan, Liu Hui, Xi Guirong, Zhu Dan, and brigade leader Shen took turns shocking me with electric batons on my lips, neck, cheeks, etc., beating me with fists and boots from early morning till noon, as well as perpetrating other atrocities, too numerous to mention. This comprises the so-called "compassionate concern and care" described in your letter.

Here, I want to tell you that what you have done and are still doing to Dafa and Dafa practitioners are evil deeds committed in ignorance, and will lead to your total destruction. I admonish you to stop committing crimes immediately! As long as the Fa-rectification is not over, there are still opportunities for all lives to reposition themselves. Cherish this unique opportunity! Don't let your wrong thoughts end in deep regret which will last for the rest of your eternal life.
