Jieshan, and Liu Ziyun at the Hands of Local Police On December 13, 2000, Mr. Feng Wentao was arrested at Tianhedongpu in
Guangdong Province and detained at the Shangshe Detention Center. Not until one
month after his detention did his family receive any information. In December
2002, he was secretly sentenced to six years of imprisonment and then
transferred to Guandong Province's Sihui Prison. On February 18, 2003, Ms. Lin Jieshan was arrested when she was clarifying
the truth. At present, she is detained at Jiedong County's Detention Center in
Guangdong Province. In addition, Liu Ziyun and one other practitioner were arrested. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Dafa Practitioner Yu Meixiu is on a Hunger

and Other Dafa Practitioners in Suzhou City Prison According to a reliable source, Mr. Xi Tiejun and over a dozen other Dafa
practitioners are illegally detained at Suzhou City Prison in Anhui Province.
None of his family members are allowed to visit or communicate with him. Even
smiles between practitioners result in brutal torture. Currently, they have been
on a hunger strike over 20 days. Ms. Zhu Guangzhen, a nearly 70-year-old woman,

Three and a Half Years of Imprisonment On November 1, 1999, practitioner Mr. Qu Dehong was arrested in Beijing and
sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment because on October 28, 1999,
he attended the press conference held in Beijing to clarify the truth to

detained Falun Gong practitioners be appropriately brain-washed. The statements
consist of a letter of repentance, a guarantee to never again practice Falun
Gong, and a list containing names and addresses of all family, friends and
acquaintances of the detainee who practices Falun Gong. This system was
concocted by the "610 Office," an agency specifically created to persecute Falun
Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all
other political and judiciary systems. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Illegal Arrest and Detention of
Practitioners During the Two Conferences Recently, during the "Two Conferences," the People's Congress and Political
Consultation Conference, policemen from Anshan City started another round of
practitioner arrests. Practitioners were detained for more than 20 days, which
severely violates the law and human rights. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Indefinite Prison Sentence for Two Dafa
Practitioners at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Practitioners Ms. Li Yanmei and Ms. Wang Qinghua are now held at Masanjia
Forced Labor Camp. Ms Li's term expired in January 2003, Ms. Wang's term expired
in February 2003, but the personnel at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp didn't
release them and extended their terms at will. Additionally, Ms. Teng Shiyun was
just sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Court Sentences Six Dafa Practitioners to
Long Term Imprisonment According to news broadcast on Pingdingshan City's TV station on December 25,
2002, Pingdingshan City's Prosecuting Office and Pingdingshan City's Court
jointly sentenced six Falun Gong practitioners to long-term imprisonment. Ma Huadong from the Xinhua District's Police Department ransacked Falun Gong
practitioner Teng Yuzhi's home. He temporarily arrested the practitioner for
finding a copy of Zhuan Falun in his home and extorted 8,000 Yuan before
