How to Break Through the Old Forces' Media Blockade?

How to break through the old forces' media blockade? This is the question I am posing with this article. I don't have a good answer myself.

A war may break out at anytime in the ordinary society. It's a major ordeal for everyday people. It takes precedence over everything else. When we practitioners go to clarify the truth to the media, an obstacle is palpable. Some of us are lost as to what to do.

As a matter of fact, it is not the first time we have encountered this problem. Whenever we have something important that requires media attention, there has been a major event with worldwide impact happening at the same time to divert people's attention from us.

As I see it, things are probably arranged this way in Fa rectification. In the past, we couldn't break though the media blockade put up by the old forces because we haven't reached that high a level in our understanding of the Fa. Our truth clarifying effort needs to be of sufficient intensity to break through the impact and dominance of the media by the major world events.

The requirement of us by the Fa-rectification process is to clarify the truth in a deeper and more comprehensive manner. Our attachment to fear and our thinking being so bound by everyday society's notions are all obstacles that hinder us from clarifying the truth thoroughly. Our merely going through the motions cannot really solve the essential problem faced by the sentient beings. The old forces will also take advantage of the omissions that do not conform to the Fa due to our shallow understanding.

The media is an effective channel that connects the general public with the government departments and decision-makers. The media is also society's very effective tool. Since the media has been arranged for today's society, there must be elements that we can utilize to clarify the truth. However, in the last three years our breakthrough in this aspect hasn't quite measured up to what's required by Fa-rectification. Our trump comes from our strong righteous thoughts after more practitioners realize the importance of this issue, and actively become involved with it. If all practitioners possess strong righteous thoughts, our wisdom and capabilities would be able to break through the media blockade of the old forces with ease.

Clarifying the truth to the media is a way of clarifying the truth to the government. We should not stop at clarifying the truth to the frontline journalists and reporters. We should also systematically clarify the truth to the behind the scene analysts and commentators, and not to forget the movers and shakers that control the direction the particular media is heading.

When members of our family rescue team appear on talk shows to tell viewers about the persecution of their family members, when our opinions appear in newspaper reports, and when famous TV show hosts and reporters step forward to interview us on their own initiative as news is breaking, our work on the media will then have broken through the obstruction of the old forces, and we are then able to use the media to directly serve our truth clarifying objective.
