On the morning of October 10, 2002 at about 4 a.m., while I was asleep, 5 or 6 policemen broke into my home and abducted me to the detention center. At about 8 a.m., I was sent to a brainwashing class. On the way, I sent forth righteous thoughts continuously and told them that what they were doing was illegal. I thought to myself as I sat in the police car: "Why don't I tell the facts to the people there before I return?" I did not consider the police a matter of any consequence, so I had no fear.

The moment I arrived at the brainwashing center I started to clarify the truth, and tried not to miss any opportunity. At the beginning two collaborators [former practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] tried to brainwash me. I told them that what they were trying to do was very wrong, so I refused to talk to them and started to send forth righteous thoughts The collaborators then opened the door deliberately to let the police see me practicing exercises. Four police officers rushed in angrily and took me outside. I was not a bit afraid, and smiled pleasantly. I used wisdom talking to the vicious police; every sentence I said was based on the Fa. The police could not respond, and had to let me go.

On the 4^th day, the collaborators told me that I would be sent to Masanjia Labor Camp, and I said calmly, "I am not going to Masanjia, and I will not betray my belief." The collaborators then went to another room, leaving me to myself. I practiced the exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts and recited Teacher's articles. After I finished practicing the five exercises, I walked out of the room. There was no one on guard at the door, nor at the second doorway. I walked to the main gate without incident. A person came out from the watchtower, but I was not a bit afraid, and walked out of the main gate openly. Just at that moment a taxi passed by. I took it and left the brainwashing center.
