Connecticut: Falun Gong Practitioners Conduct Press Conference at Milford to the Rescue Charles Li (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 6, 2003, Connecticut Falun Gong practitioners once again held a press conference at Mildford to call for rescue of US citizen Charles Li.

Due to a snowstorm many institutions were closed, but we still were able to hold the press at the City Hall. The mayor and other government officials and staff carefully listened to us explaining the facts about Falun Gong and learned about the persecution encountered by Charles Li. They all considered that Charles Li should be immediately released.

Despite the bad weather, two reporters from the Connpost newspaper came to cover the activity. Practitioners played the video "A Broken Family and a Broken Heart," which was especially made for rescuing Charles Li and persecuted family members of Falun Gong practitioners in the US. The reporters said that they would follow up and report the updated news.
