Missouri Practitioners Hold Press Conference at State Capitol Commemorating Four-Year Anniversary of April 25th Peaceful Appeal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Missouri practitioners held a press conference and other activities on April 24 in the State Capitol Building in Jefferson City to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the April 25 Peaceful Appeal and expose the Jiang regime's brutal persecution.

With the help of a video slide show, practitioners introduced Falun Gong, exposed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China by Jiang's regime since July 20^th, 1999, and illustrated how Falun Dafa has spread to over 60 countries throughout the world.

After that, showing many precious scenes, the practitioners reviewed the April 25^th peaceful appeal in 1999 and its historical significance. Falun Gong practitioners' peaceful demeanor and rationality have left the world with a glorious testimony.

The practitioners then read the resolutions to Falun Gong issued by both the Missouri House and Senate, and called for the release of Falun Gong practitioner and American citizen Charles Li, who is unlawfully detained in China. Two State Assemblymen attended this activity.

The practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Their smooth and elegant movements and the compassionate and peaceful music attracted many people, including children, to watch with appreciation. Songs composed by Dafa practitioners and sung by practitioners received warm applause and touched the hearts of audience members.

A local TV station filmed the entire activity and conducted interviews with practitioners on the spot.
