Dafa Practitioners Suffer Severe Torture in Baoding City, Hebei Province For Allegedly Tapping into Television Signals and Broadcasting the Truth

Some Dafa practitioners in Baoding City, Hebei Province were arrested by officers from the Baoding City Police Department for allegedly tapping into a video signal and broadcasting a Dafa video on August 27, 2002 clarifying the truth of the persecution. They are now being detained in the Xushui County Detention Center in Hebei Province. The victims are: Fu Shuling, female, 58 years old; Niu Junjie, male, 32 years old; Cao Zhi, male, 14 years old; Han Weixin, male; Zhang Yanqing, male; Ma Jinjun, male; Wang Xianghui, male; and Li Aihua, male. They have been secretly detained in the Xushui County Detention Center for seven months. The wicked police officers do not allow the practitioners' family members to visit, and have ordered a strict news blackout. They keep those practitioners separated, and use monitors to watch their every move. These Dafa practitioners are also forced to work inside the compound each day, and are often interrogated. Each time they return from an interrogation, they have wounds all over their bodies. The vicious police officers also instigate the other inmates to beat up Dafa practitioners. For example, an inmate once tortured Han Weixin for three days and nights in a bathroom. It was too terrible to witness. Currently, Han Weixin has been on a hunger strike for 16 days. The other Dafa practitioners also suffer from torture every day. Additionally, the wicked police officers have also secretly detained Dafa practitioners from Shijiazhuang City and other areas.

The above deeds were all committed by vicious officials from the No. 1 Criminal Team of Xushui County Police Department. The Deputy Head of Xushui Police Department, Yan Yongzeng, who was in charge of the criminal division, has been disciplined by being assigned to a lower position.
