Harbin Falun Gong Practitioner Yang Bin Tortured to Death at Pingfang Detention Center

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Yang Bin, 26 years old, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Heilongjiang Province. He originally worked at the Dongan Factory in Pingfang District, Harbin City and lived in the dormitory of the Dongan Factory. He had practiced Falun Gong for seven years. Because Yang Bin persisted in practicing Falun Gong, he was forced to leave his home to avoid further persecution. After the 2003 Chinese Lunar New Year, he was illegally arrested and held at the detention center of the Pingfang Public Security Bureau. Fifteen days later, he was tortured to death, and on March 5, 2003, his body was cremated. His family has nowhere to go to appeal for or seek justice for him.
