Going to Beijing to Speak Out the Truth, Safely Returning with Righteous Thoughts

I am a Dafa practitioner who had previously gone astray in my cultivation. Because of Teacher's magnificent compassion and salvation I was able to return to the right path of cultivation practice. I have been thinking about validating Dafa in Beijing for a long time. But due to my own fear and various interferences, I have not made it although I have prepared to do it on a few occasions.

On November 15, 2002, I stepped on a train to Beijing summoning all my courage and determination. I arrived at Beijing after a smooth trip that afternoon. As soon as I got off the train, I had a very strong desire to shout out from my heart: "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" On my way to the Tiananmen Square by bus, I found that the street was guarded so heavily that there were small groups of security people on duty stationed every ten meters apart. In Tiananmen Square, there were many uniformed policemen and also police in plain clothes. There were security lines set up everywhere. The only places that had unlimited access to visitors was a small area in front of the Golden Water Bridge as well as the doorway to the Imperial Palace. Even in this small area in front of the Golden Water Bridge, there was a policeman on duty. On my way from the Golden Water Bridge to the Imperial Palace, I silently recited "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" again and again. Finally when I felt I was able to shout my words from the bottom of my heart, I calmly walked to the most crowed place and shouted "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" a few times. I then came back home safely.

During the period of the "Two Conferences" [The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference And the National People's Congress], I again went to Beijing to request justice for Falun Gong. This time I did not have any hesitation and nothing disturbed me at all. I found that I became more mature and calm minded in my thinking. I kept sending forth righteous thoughts and eliminating evil all the way to Beijing.

I arrived at Beijing very smoothly. This time the security at Tiananmen Square was less strict than last time. There were not many visitors. I walked to the front of the Golden Water Bridge and Tiananmen doorway. I then stood with my back to the on-duty police, shouting loudly "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa! Restore Teacher Li's reputation! Give back the reputation of Dafa!" Then I walked back to Tiananmen Square calmly. I shouted loudly in front of various groups of visitors, "Falun Dafa is good!" Later on I realized that we should also speak out about the truth of Falun Gong to representatives of the People's Congress who were meeting inside the People's Hall. So I went to a place that was opposite of the People's Hall and shouted with all my courage, "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa! Stop the persecution of Falun Gong!" Eventually, I safely returned to my home.

After I got at home, I heard that the previous prime minister had not mentioned anything about the persecution of Falun Gong in his annual government report. I felt a bit happy in my heart. But I immediately realized that we should not count on ordinary people's help. As Teacher indicated in the Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia,
