Facts of the Persecution against Dafa Practitioners in Zhaogezhuang Coalmine in Tanshan City, Hebei Province

Unlawful people at the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Zhaogezhuang Coalmine in Tangshan City, Hebei Province collude with the local brainwashing center to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. They hold practitioners for unlimited terms while also withholding their pensions. The persecuted Dafa practitioners include:

Bi Junqing: male, 50 years old. He was illegally sentenced to two years of forced-labor. Because he insisted on practicing Dafa, he was later transferred to the brainwashing center where he was illegally held for 14 months. As a result of the persecution he received, his blood pressure reached 220. Later when the doctor gave him an examination, they wouldn't even tell him his blood pressure. His face was beaten beyond recognition, but the brainwashing center still refused to send him to a hospital for treatment. They did not inform his family of his situation, nor did they allow them to visit him. They claimed, "What's the big deal if he dies?"

Liu Cai: male, 68 years old, is a retired worker. Because he went to Beijing to say, "Falun Dafa is good," he was illegally detained for five months. Afterwards, he was sent to the brainwashing center where he has been jailed for five months. In order to protest against the brutal beating by Wang Zhijie, he held a hunger strike. As of April 23^rd, he has been fasting for 12 days.

Tang Zhanqiu: female, 65 years old, was illegally detained for 6 months. After her family paid 2000 Yuan in bail she was released. However, soon after she was sent to the brainwashing center by the "610 Office."

Wang Yuchuan: female, 30 years old, was a doctor in the coalmine hospital. Because she went to Beijing to appeal, she was illegally sentenced to forced-labor. After her term expired, she was transferred to the brainwashing center where she has been jailed for over one year. Because she did not cooperate with her evil captors, she was brutally beaten by Wang Zhijie and Meng Fantie.
