The Facts of the Persecution Against Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Guiping from Qianjiang City, Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net)

Dafa practitioner Zhang Guiping, female, 39 years old, worked for the Beimen Cotton Manufactory, Qianjiang City, Hubei Province. She was illegally arrested for one day after she went to the Capital City of the Province to appeal for Falun Gong in July 1999. In October 1999, she was arrested again and detained for a few days in the Police Station of Qianjiang City after she went to Beijing to validate Dafa.

In July 2001, when Zhang Guiping was at home, the manager of the Cotton Manufactory, Zhang Gongping, along with two policemen of Qianjiang City Police Department, Yao Guimin and Guan Hongbin, forced their way into her house. They illegally ransacked her home and took away all of the Dafa books and articles. The also took her away to the Yangshi Detention Center, Qianjiang City, Hubei Province, where she was held for 21 days. After that, the officials from the supervision unit of her factory used her as an excuse to create a "work" trip and spend the factory's money for their own entertainment. The manufactory could not afford the expense so they laid her off in April 2002. Zhang Guiping had to look for another job to make a living and support her child.

On November 1, 2002, policemen Yao Chengli and Xiong Guizhou from the Security Office of the Police department, QianJiang City, Hubei Province ransacked her temporary home. They savagely pulled her into a police car, breaking her leg. She was illegally detained at the No.1 Detention Center, Qianjiang City where she suffered cruel torture, which made her pass out several times. The torture also caused her heart disease, which had been cured after she took up the practice of Dafa, to relapse with very high blood pressure. Her life was in danger; however, the police left her in jail rather than sending her to the hospital immediately. When she was released the next day because of her condition, she was warned not to appear in any place in Qianjiang City. She had to go back to her hometown of Longwan to make a living.

On March 20, 2003, the same police forced their way into her home and tried to take her away again. To avoid more torture, she had no choice but to jump from the building to escape. In the process, she broke her legs again, and nothing has been heard about Zhang Guiping since. Her son, who is studying at a school outside of town, currently has no money to live on.

The following is a list of responsible persons who have persecuted Dafa practitioner Zhang Guiping:
