An Experience of Clarifying the Truth Wisely in China

I am a practitioner who is responsible for producing truth-clarifying materials in a Northern province of China, a big target for the police. It has taken me a very long time to find out how to clarify the truth well at the same time as making the truth clarifying materials. I'd like to share my experiences with fellow practitioners.

Because I never returned to my company after I was released from labor camp, the public security bureau continuously sought my whereabouts. Therefore, I have been concerned about my personal safety. So, I mainly use a third party angle to clarify the truth to people who have been deceived by the propaganda. Restaurants and long-distance buses have become the environment that I most often use to clarify the truth. In order to let more people understand, usually my voice is very loud. I feel that Dafa practitioners are on a stage when they clarify the truth to people. The goal is to let people understand the truth and therefore be saved. So, I always speak in accordance with the environment at that moment and the people's ability to accept what I say. I have found that whether my words can obtain a good result is mainly decided by whether I can grasp the best starting point for my clarifying the truth each time. That is to say, I look for righteous elements in people. Generally speaking, when I try to let the people's righteous sides come into play, the results will be better. For example, some people's sense of patriotism is strong. Then I will expose the facts of how Jiang has betrayed the country. Talking at a detailed level is essential for overcoming the lies that the media has spread. Then, it is easy for them to accept when I tell them that Dafa is being wrongly persecuted. Some people have a strong sense of justice, so I tell them about the trampling of the freedom of belief, the unreasonable persecution of human rights and so on. In the process of clarifying the truth, I observe people's changes as I speak. Once I find that they cannot accept what I am saying, I will adjust my angle. I try to stay away from being caught up only in my enthusiasm to speak, which hinders peoples' ability to accept what I am trying to tell them.

On some occasions, I tell them that I am a Dafa practitioner. It helps them to understand our sincerity and frankness. Giving up the attachment to fear is crucial. Evasive behavior arouses people's suspicion and makes it harder for them to understand us. The wisdom of Dafa practitioners should be infinite. As long as we are rational, our thoughts are pure, and we are really thinking about others, then we can overcome the lies being spread. If we do not eliminate them completely the first time, we can eliminate them again next time. As for our approach and the methods we adopt, we can use them at will.

The people's destiny depends entirely on Dafa practitioners' clarifying the truth. The SARS epidemic wreaking havoc has caused a great panic. Clarifying the truth, starting with protecting one's health and then exposing the facts of Dafa being unreasonably persecuted, can help to establish some common ground. At present, how to clarify the truth well and quickly is the responsibility of each Dafa practitioner. These days, I have really felt that time is very precious. As long as I am in a public place, I must clarify the truth. I start from the angle of the SARS epidemic to reveal the true nature of Jiang's regime, which has little regard for human lives. I point out the contradictions and lies on television. Finally, I talk about the evil persecution that Dafa and Dafa practitioners have suffered. In less than half an hour, I might be able to get across all of the major points. Every day, I can clarify the truth to about one hundred people. Moreover, I have not met much resistance. In the process of quickly clarifying the truth well, I found that my attachment to fear was greatly eliminated. The friendly protection from people, the sincere thanks and praises, the warm discussions, and the firm support makes me feel that "it's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths" ("Hurry Up and Tell Them"), which has the power of completely eliminating the evil. The strong righteous thoughts of Dafa practitioners really do scare all evils.

Although making truth-clarifying materials is a little laborious, I still fully use the environment around me, such as riding in a vehicle, eating, and so on, to clarify the truth. One's safety can also be protected wisely. Under the situation of not interfering with Dafa work and studying the Fa, we persist in clarifying the truth at any given time. I feel that this is also a reflection of Dafa practitioners' compassion.

Today (April 8 on the Chinese lunar calendar) is our Teacher's birthday. To express my appreciation for Teacher's boundless benevolence, I can only do more to clarify the truth! I also want to thank fellow practitioners who have helped to make a lot of good truth clarification materials and who silently contributed. Let us strive forward together!
