Torture Death of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Sun Guilan in the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp, Zhenzhou City, Henan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) May 24^th report: Dafa practitioner Sun Guilan, female, around 60 years of age, was a farm worker who lived in Yucheng, Shangqiu City, Henan Province. Sun Guilan was illegally detained at the Shibalihe Forced Labor Camp in Zhenzhou City. Her term expired long ago but the labor camp refused to release her, and would not allow other people to talk to her. They also forced the elderly lady to do hard labor and tortured her physically and mentally. The authorities often asked for information about her husband, who is also a Dafa practitioner. They ordered her husband to write a "guarantee statement" saying Sun Guilan had given up her Dafa practice.

One morning, Sun Guilan went to a workshop to do some cleaning as usual. Later she was found dead beside a sink outside the workshop. Wang Yan, the labor camp chief, said that Sun Guilan, "hung herself on a rope from the water pipe in the restroom." However, according to observations, the water pipe is less than one meter above the floor, so it would have been impossible for Sun Guilan to die from hanging on this pipe. The labor camp tried to use various means to cover up Sun Guilan's death.
