[Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Yang Jiangwei's Life is
in Danger Because of the Persecution Abuse in Huludao City's Forced Labor Camp
In spite of the fact that Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jiangwei's life is in
danger, the personnel at the camp still refuse to release him. Yang has started
a hunger strike in the hospital to protest the persecution. Team leader Liu

[Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Continue Hanging Truth-Clarifying
Banners, Signs and Pasting up of Dafa Materials
Dafa practitioners in a city in Hebei Province at all times keep in mind
Master's teachings and strive to do the "three things" well (read and study the
Fa, explain the facts and send righteous thoughts). They have also continually
hung truth-clarifying banners and signs, and posted Dafa truth-clarifying
materials. On "World Falun Dafa Day," hundreds of banners hung in streets and
lanes around the city. This has greatly shocked the evil.
Due to practitioners' kind suggestions during the past four years, many
people know the truth of Falun Gong. Many policemen gave up doing evil things
and became nice people. Some have started reading Dafa books; some even have
their whole family practicing Dafa, and some have abandoned jobs that persecute
Dafa practitioners.
[Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Yuhua Police Department Enforcers Abduct
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Ruiqin
On approximately May 10th, police from the Yuhua Police Department arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Ruiqin on her way home. She is a retired employee from
Shijiazhuang City's Dongfanghong Cotton Textile Factory and has been living away
from home to avoid persecution. It's said this happened because one of her
family members provided information about her when coerced by local "610
Office"* authorities At present, Liu Ruiqin is being detained and interrogated
at a hotel in the Dong'erhuan District. It's said that the next step is for the
"610 Office" people to collaborate with Liu's work unit and send her to a
brainwashing center.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ouyang Yun is Missing
After Being Taken Away by "610 Office" Personnel
Ms. Ouyang Yun is a 58 year old English teacher. She has been to Beijing
twice to validate Dafa and was later arrested by the local police and detained
for 15 days. She was then sent to Wuhan City's Liujiaoting Mental Hospital and
tortured for about two months. Ms. Ouyang was forced to live in exile after
being released from the hospital. Later, she was secretly arrested by persons
from the Wuhan City "610 Office" and sent to the Erzhigou Women's Detention
Center in the Wujiashan District. Now her whereabouts are unknown.

[Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Kang Xianhua is Again
Sent to Lanzhou City's No.1 Detention Center
Ms. Kang Xianhua, who is over 30 years old, was sentenced to forced labor. On
March 1, 2003, she was again abducted from home and is now detained in Team No.
14 at Lanzhou City's No. 1 Detention Center.
[Huining County, Gansu Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chen Shuxian from the
Chengguan District is Sentenced to Three Years of Imprisonment
Ms. Chen Shuxian, 34 years old, is a resident of the Chengguan District,
Huining County, Gansu Province. In 2001 she was forced to begin living in exile
for maintaining her belief in Falun Dafa. On August 18, 2002 she was arrested by
police in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province and sent to a detention center where
she endured inhumane torture. Eight months later, Chen Shuxian was sentenced to
3-1/2 years of imprisonment without any legal procedure, and subsequently
incarcerated at Yinchuan City's Women Prison.
[Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] National Security Bureau is Planning Swift
Arrest of Some Falun Gong Practitioners in Neijiang City and Weiyuan City
Recently.
[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Eliminate Some Lawless Officials' Latest
Conspiracy of Persecuting Dafa Practitioners
Recently, some work units and other ordinary citizens demanded that Dafa
practitioners sign the "Four Statements" they had prepared. Police will forcibly
arrest those who refuse to sign, and send them to brainwashing centers. If the
practitioners still refuse to sign such a document in the brainwashing centers,
they will not be released.
It's said that Sun Chunlan, former Chinese president Jiang Zemin's niece, as
well as the Deputy Provincial Governor for Liaoning Province/Director of Dalian
City's Municipal Committee issued this order. The authorities are attempting to
start a new round of persecution against Dafa practitioners.
[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhong Shujuan, Previously
Tortured at Dalian City Forced Labor Camp, is Sent to the Masanjia Labor Camp
At the end of 2000, practitioner Ms. Zhong Shujuan went to Beijing to
safeguard the Fa and was put into the Dalian City Forced Labor Camp. She was
tortured but did not give up her belief. She was released toward the end of
2002. After her release, she actively clarified Dafa facts and spread Dafa to
the public. On March 7, 2003, she was again arrested while shopping at the
Aoerma Supermarket in Shandong Street and detained at Dalian City's Yaojia
Detention Center. Around April 20, she was sent to the Masanjia Labor Camp for
one year of forced labor.
[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of a 70-Year-Old Dafa Practitioner
At 3:00 p.m. on May 20, 2003, a seventy-year-old practitioner from Weigong
Street in the Tiexi District, Shenyang City, was arrested. Detailed information
is not available.
[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Wang Jie
On May 13, practitioner Mr. Wang Jie from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province
was arrested when he was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials.
[Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Jizhen
On the morning of May 10th, practitioner Ms. Li Jizhen was reported to the
police while she was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials in a
residential area. The police arrested her and ransacked her home. Now she is
detained at Donggang City Detention Center.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioners
Practitioners Sun, Cao, and Jumei from the Xinzhou District were arrested as
they distributed Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Recently, Zhu Xuefei from the
Xinzhou District Police Department detained these practitioners at the Wuhan
City Detention Center.
[Guangxi Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zeng Shengfang Is Sentenced to Seven
Years of Imprisonment
In 2000, practitioner Ms. Zeng Shengfang was arrested twice because she went
to Beijing to distribute Dafa truth-materials and unfurl a Dafa banner. Because
she refused to tell her name and address, she was brutally tortured but
afterward released. In 2001, she was arrested at her aunt's home because she
printed Dafa truth-clarifying materials in Yulin City/Guangxi Province. She has
been detained at the Beiliu Detention Center since then. During this period she
was brought to trial many times, but lawless officials could not sentence her at
the first two trials. Nonetheless, she was sentenced to seven years of
imprisonment at the third trial.
[Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Arrest of Nine Dafa Practitioners
Recently, because of the spread of SARS epidemic, police from Qinhuangdao
City required citizens to apply for door passes. Using this opportunity, they
also arrested some Dafa practitioners. On May 13th, World Falun Dafa
Day, practitioner Mr. Li Shiwu and eight other practitioners were arrested. Six
of these practitioners were able to escape using their righteous thoughts. On
May 20th, practitioner Zhang Deyi and daughter, along with another practitioner
named Cui were arrested, but Cui was released that same day.
[Boxing County, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Song Baoqing Is
Illegally Sentenced
Mr. Song Baoqing is a 33 year old employee of Boxing County's Education
Committee. He used to be a volunteer assistant at a local Dafa practice center,
but because of the persecution, he was forced to live in exile. In April 2002 he
was illegally arrested in Jinan City. After being sent back to his hometown he
was still steadfast in his belief. He was illegally sentenced to seven years of
imprisonment in July of 2002. Now he is detained at Shandong Province's Prison
in Jinan City.

Han Yong
[Xiangfan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhang Jingwen Is Illegally
Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Zhang Jingwen is 23 years old, and an excellent worker in Hubei
Province's Pharmaceutical Factory. On the night of March 27, 2003, when she was
clarifying the truth with another Dafa practitioner, vile persons reported them
and they were illegally arrested. The other Dafa practitioner openly and
dignifiedly stepped out of the detention center, while Zhang Jingwen was
illegally detained at the Tanxi Detention Center for half a month. Afterwards,
she was illegally sentenced to one and one-half years of forced labor, and was
sent to the Shayang Forced Labor Camp.
[Changsha City, Hunan Province] Several Dafa Practitioners are Illegally
Detained at the the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Ding Lin, from Baojing County,
Zhangjiajie City, was illegally arrested in April 2001 and later was illegally
sentenced to two years of forced labor.
Mr. Yan Qiguo, from Changdejin City,
was illegally arrested in February 2001 and later was illegally sentenced to two
years of forced labor.
Mr. Nie Qingfeng, from Hengyang City,
was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor.
Mr. Liu Yuanbo, from Huaihua City,
was illegally sentenced to one and one-half years of forced labor at the
beginning of 2001.
Hu Nianhong, from Xinhuang County,
was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor.
Mr. Zhang Qian, from Yueyang City,
was arrested by policemen from Yueyang City's Tuqiao Police Precinct in July of
2001. Later he was illegally sentenced to one and one-half years of forced
labor.
Mr. Liu Jiesheng, from Huaihua City,
was illegally sentenced to one and one-half years of forced labor.
Mr. Shi Daxing, from Yueyang City,
was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor at the end of March 2001.
Mr. Li Qingjun, from Shaodong County
Shaoyang City, was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor at the end of
2001.
Mr. Ai Yun, from Lengshuihaiqing, was
illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor in 2001.
Mr. Liao Gaoping, from Laiyang City,
was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor in June or July 2001.
The Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp enforcers tortured Dafa practitioners with all
kind of methods. Two drug addicts in each cell are directed to monitor Dafa
practitioners around the clock. Practitioners are not allowed to speak or to
practice the exercises. Those Dafa practitioners who protest the persecution are
deprived of sleep and have to wear helmets. Police direct drug addicts to
continuously beat Dafa practitioners. Some practitioners are not permitted to
wear clothes and are forced to view videos slandering Dafa.
[Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Meng Kai Is Illegally
Sentenced to Seven Years of Imprisonment and Is Detained at Hunan Province's
Yuanjiang Prison.
In the night of February 24, 2001, Mr. Meng Kai was illegally arrested and
taken to Huarong County Detention Center by policemen from Yueyang City's Tuqiao
Police Precinct. Later he was illegally sentenced to seven years of
imprisonment. Toward the end of 2001, he was sent to Hunan Province's Yuanjiang
Prison.
[Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Ju Fengying in
Baoshan Town Is Illegally Arrested Because of Protecting Dafa Books
During the afternoon of May 14th, Zhou Baohua, director of Daijia Village's
Security and Guard Section in Baoshan Town, led lawless policemen, including
director Liu Gang and policemen Ma Xiuli, to break into Ms. Ju Fengying's home
and illegally confiscate all Dafa books, Dafa truth-clarifying discs and some
other materials. Because Ju Fengying protected the Dafa books, police officers
abducted her and sent her to Fengcheng City's No. 1 Detention Center. As part of
the persecution, she will probably be abused and mistreated there.
[Shandong Province] We Suggest Dafa Practitioners might Enhance Sending Forth
Righteous Thoughts to Eliminate the Vicious Plot in Other Dimensions to Destroy
a Dafa-Materials Production Site
According to inside sources, officials have recently begun searching Dafa
materials production sites in Qingdao City and Jiaozhou City.
We hope all fellow practitioners who see this information will send forth
righteous thoughts together to eliminate all evil factors in other dimensions.
At about 9:00 p.m. on May 12, 2003, Mr. Liu Zhaohong, a Dafa practitioner
from Jiaozhou City, was tricked. A call from a dishonest official coerced him to
go outdoors, where he was abducted. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Wenfeng was illegally arrested and now is
illegally detained at the Jiaozhou City Detention Center. The details are not
known.
* "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in
the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
