Persecution Cases of Dafa Practitioners in Harbin City

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Sun Shuyun, 52, went to Beijing to make a peaceful appeal for Falun Gong in May 2000. As a result, she was arrested and sent back by the Cement Factory Police Station and member of the Party Committee Xu Yongmao. She was sent to Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center and held for a month. In December 2000, police officer Zheng Yanbin forcibly took her to Harbin No. 2 Detention Center and illegally imprisoned her. On January 26, 2001, she was arrested by Wang Peng and Kong Qingxin from the Street Administration office and taken to the police station. Her home was ransacked and property confiscated. Based on groundless charges, Sun was sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to three years of forced labor to suffer intensive persecution and brainwashing.

Gao Shuyan, female, 34 years old, was arrested in February 2000 for appealing for Falun Gong. She was sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. Later, because she clarified the truth about Falun Gong, she was sent to Harbin City Drug Rehabilitation Center and illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor. She was put under intensive persecution and brainwashing. Her body is extremely weak currently.

Chen Yali, female, 35 years old, appealed for Falun Gong in February 2000. She was arrested and sent to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp to be persecuted. On the 20th day of the 12th month of the lunar calendar in 2002, she was arrested at home and sent to the No. 2 Detention Center, where she remains today. She began a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She is in extremely poor health currently and is on the verge of death.

Wang Hongbin, male, 48 years old, was arrested at his workplace on June 6, 2002. His home was ransacked, and he is now at the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City, where he is being subjected to intensive persecution and brainwashing. He was illegally sentenced to a two-year jail term. His wife, Kong Fanli, was also arrested without any legal grounds. She was illegally sentenced to a one-year jail term in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp and is also suffering intensive persecution and brainwashing.

Two Dafa practitioners, Liu Hongtao and Zhang Qi, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. They were forcibly sent to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp by police officer Zhang Jinsheng from the Cement Factory Police Station. They were sentenced to a one-year jail term. After their release, the police on many occasions went to the residence of the two Dafa practitioners to harass them. They were forced to leave home to avoid the further persecution. Later, they were arrested again and sent to Harbin No. 2 Detention Center and are still being persecuted there today.
