By a Falun Dafa Practitioner from Mainland China

Before his death, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhao Dexiu was head of a division and a model worker at the Bureau of Telegraph and Information, in Xinyang City, Henan Province. In the Spring of 2001, he was arrested by a district detention center for his steadfast belief in Falun Dafa and detained in the Xinyang Detention Center. During his detention, policemen frequently tortured him, causing him to suffer a mental breakdown and greatly damaging his health in general. Zhao Dexiu's was released after being forced to pay a heavy fine, and died soon thereafter due to his poor health.
