An Account of Crimes Committed by the Police in the 2nd Labor Camp of Shandong Province

The vicious police in the 2^nd Labor Camp of Shandong Province:

Sun Shengyin (Chief), Liao Junye (head of the Unit No. 9), and Shan Weiye (head of the Unit No. 10), Zheng xx (head of the Unit No. 11) and Zhao Yongming (head of the Unit No. 12)

Their atrocious acts are listed as follows:

1. Forced brainwashing:

The above named police ordered other police to persecute Falun Gong practitioners by applying violent means to force practitioners to renounce their belief. The methods they used included: stripping off the clothing of steadfast practitioners who refused to write the pledges to give up their beliefs and exposing them to harsh summer or winter temperatures; handcuffing practitioners and hanging them off the balconies of the buildings; shocking practitioners with over 10 super-high voltage electric batons, depriving the practitioners of sleep, forcing practitioners to sit on a torture bench, forcing practitioners to listen to broadcasts defaming Falun Gong, confining practitioners in isolation cells or small iron cages, and pouring ice water over practitioners' clothes in the winter. When practitioners recited the Falun Gong articles, the above police ordered them to be guarded by armed military police and issued orders that if practitioners didn't obey orders it was permissible to shoot them.

3. Detaining practitioners illegally with indefinite terms

When Falun Gong practitioner Sun Degui's term expired, he was supposed to be released. However, since he insisted on saying Falun Gong is good, the above vicious police together with the evil "610 Office" in the region where Mr. Sun lived took him out of the camp, then immediately sent him back. He was then sentenced to 10 years in jail with no factual or legal grounds. They also used this case to threaten other Falun Gong practitioners in the camp.

4. Fabricating rumors to slander Falun Gong

These police fabricated lies saying that the U.S. government granted one billion dollars to Falun Gong in 2000 and 200 million dollars in 2001, as well as saying that Falun Gong practitioners would be committing a crime of high treason if they did not give up Falun Gong. This is just a glimpse of the brutal tactics used by Jiang's criminal regime to persecute Falun Gong and the Chinese people.

5. Illegal Labor

These police, together with the 2^nd Women's Labor Camp of Shandong Province knowingly violated the international regulations for export products. They knew that the Changhong and Haier television set brands were for export [note: prison labor is internationally unacceptable for exported products], but they still forced the practitioners in the camp to make the television coils for these plants.

6. Making fake products:

These vicious police worked together with the local gangs to force Falun Gong practitioners illegally detained in the camp to make pens and clothes with fraudulent foreign brand trademarks. They sold these fake products to deceive the Chinese people and make money for themselves.

The above are the facts. All practitioners illegally detained in the 2^nd Labor Camp of Shandong Province would like to be witnesses in the courts of law.
