Practitioner Ms. Tang Qianwan from Sichuan Province Dies From Abuse and Brutal Mistreatment at the Yongchuan Forced Labor Farm

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Tang Qianwan, female, 52 years old, is from Sichuan Province. On May 8, 2001, police from Chongqing City National Security Bureau abducted her from the Binjin Park. They illegally sentenced her to four years of forced labor and detained her in the Yongchuan Labor Camp Farm, where she suffered horrendous abuse and persecution. They held her until December 29, 2002 when she was sent back to the hospital affiliated with the Chang'an Plant. By then she had become a mere skeleton. She could neither eat nor talk. Both her chest and back showed patches of black and blue bruises from severe beatings. She passed away at around 3:30 a.m. on January 2, 2003. At 7:00 a.m. the same day, officers from the Chang'an Plant police department forced her relatives to cremate her body.

Dafa practitioners from the Chang'an region who are still illegally detained and suffer persecution, abuse and mistreatment in the Yongchuan Labor Camp Farm include Yang Hong (female, three years of forced labor), Sun Fengzhen (female, four years of forced labor), Su Xiying (female, three years of forced labor and denied family visits). Gao Hong was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor and is currently detained in the Xishanping Labor Camp. She has been so brutally tortured that she is suffering from whole-body dropsy and is unable to take care of herself for her daily living. Her family members have asked for her release, but the police are demanding an extortion of 10,000 Yuan as a precondition for her release. She is still detained to date. Xiong Yuzhen (female, four years of forced labor, currently detained in the Maojiashan Female Labor Camp).
