Right after having dinner on May 18, 2003, female practitioners Wang Xiying and Ma Jinfeng were arrested by police from the Drilling Technology Company. They were posting truth clarifying Dafa materials in the residence areas of the Drilling Technology Company and Fixing Well Team. Around 2pm on May 19, Babaixiang Police Station sent Wang Xiying to Honggang District Detention Center while Ma Jinfeng was transferred to Daqing City Detention Center. Police of Babaixiang Police Station ransacked both practitioners' homes and confiscated Dafa books and truth clarifying materials.

Between September 1999 and January 2000, Li Yunbiao went to Beijing twice to appeal for a stop to the persecution of Falun Gong. While unfurling a banner in Tiananmen Square he was arrested. In March 2000, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor and imprisoned in Huayuan Forced Labor Camp in Heilongjiang Province. The police tried in vain to brainwash him. The police beat him many times which caused his head to swell severely, and his body was badly wounded. At same time, the police still forced him to do heavy labor.

Li Yunbiao was seriously sick after he was transferred to Suihua Forced Labor Camp. He was diagnosed as having severe bleeding in his head. After surgery and a month of recuperation in the hospital, he was released but the labor camp took him back and continued to try and brainwash him. Because he refused to give up practicing Falun Gong, the labor camp extended his term. In August 2001, Li Yunbiao walked out from the labor camp with righteous thoughts. He went back to his previous workplace, Changshuihe Farm and lived under the surveillance of the Farm's police. In October 2001, Li Yunbiao left the Farm to avoid further persecution. His whereabouts are unknown.

On April 16, 2003, female practitioner Liu Jinying was taken away by police from her workplace and is being currently detained in Shenyang City Detention Center. Wang Jie was arrested while doing truth clarifying work.

On the morning of March 12, 2003, officials from Jinhua Police Station arrested 62-year-old female practitioner Tang Guixiang in Jinzhou City when she was doing truth-clarifying work. The police threatened her daughter to force her to lead them to Tang Guixiang's home. The police ransacked Tang's home and confiscated all Dafa materials. They extorted 10,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China.] from her daughter.

On May 14, 2003, 60-year-old female practitioner Chen Xiurong was arrested for clarifying the truth of Dafa to a motor tricycle (a riding vehicle with a passenger seat in tow for adults) driver. The driver was so deceived by Jiang regime's false propaganda that he reported Ms. Chen to police. The police of Xinxing Police Station arrested Ms. Chen at her home and put her in Yanliang District Detention Center. Ms. Chen's elderly husband is very ill with a disease and needs her to take care of him. We hope the overseas practitioners can make phone calls to help to clarify the truth to the people here.

On the afternoon of May 8, 2003, female practitioners Tan Shuqin and Wang Lixin were distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials on Gutianxi Road. The police at Gutianxi Road Police Station in Wuhan City arrested them and ransacked their homes. The practitioners are currently being detained at Erzhigou 2^nd Detention Center in Wuhan City.

Around May 26, 2003, the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] in Xingtai City and police in Nangong City used a dragnet to arrest Dafa practitioners. More than ten practitioners were arrested. Practitioner Ding Muliang and his daughter are being detained in Xingtai City and suffering from interrogation and torture. The rest of the practitioners are being detained in Nangong City. The detailed information is under investigation.

Around 5pm on May 25, 2003, the police arrested female practitioner Guan Yuru and ransacked her home. Ms. Guan is detained at local detention center.

Yan Zhigang (related to the case of Peng Liang suing the Chief of Public Security Bureau Zhao Zhifei) was sentenced two year of forced labor. In recently months, his family went to Hewan Forced Labor Camp to visit him, but were told he was taken away by "610 Office". They went to "610 Office" and were told he was in Hewan Forced Labor Camp. The perpetrators of the two places tried to push responsibility on eachother.

On April 30, 2003, 40-year-old female practitioner Li Shuanyun was arrested by police at home and detained in a detention center. She and another practitioner are on a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention and persecution.

(1) Wang Jingru, female, is from Fuyuan Town, Fuyuan County. She was illegally detained once and sent to an anti-Falun Gong brainwashing center three times. She has had to leave her home and live on the street to avoid further persecution.

(2)Yu Lijun was illegally detained three times and sent to a brainwashing center each time. Currently he has to stay away from his home to avoid further persecution.

(3) Li Xuejun was illegally detained twice and sentenced to terms in a force labor camp. He is imprisoned in Xigemu Forced Labor Camp in Jiamusi City.

(4) Wang Chunguang was illegally detained twice and sentenced to re-education through forced labor in a labor camp. He is imprisoned in Xigemu Forced Labor Camp in Jiamusi City.

(5) Shao Dianyin (The previous Secretary of Politic and Law Committee) is a practitioner from Ya-nan Town in Fuyuan County. He was dismissed from the communist party and fired from his job. He had been sentenced to terms of forced labor twice. Currently he is imprisoned in Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp. This is his second term of confinement there.

(6) Li Hongliang was detained twice for practicing Falun Gong and sent to a brainwashing center once.

(7) Female practitioner Zhang Shuying had been sentenced to terms of forced labor in labor camps twice. She had to leave her home to avoid further persecution.

(8) Dai Zhong is a practitioner from Hancong Town, Fuyuan County. He was detained three times and sentenced to terms of forced labor in labor camps twice. He was tortured to the brink of death and the perpetrators had to send him home to seek medical treatment.

The practitioners from Fuyuan County who are currently imprisoned in Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp: Li Yan (female), Zhang Guizhen (female), Chen Kaiping, Zhen Yingchun (female), Sui Tianlong, Zhang Zhichen, Sun Yanhui and Ma Xilin.

When Li Shiyuan was the Chief of Chaoyang Town Police Station in Shulan City in July 2001, he arrested female practitioner Zhang Junying and two other practitioners who came to Shuangxing Village of Chaoyang Town to clarify the truth of Dafa. He extorted 1,000 Yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China.] from them. Li Shiyuan has been fired from his position.

Rongchang County police have been monitoring practitioners for a long time and harass them by ransacking practitioners' homes. Even practitioners' families are not excused. Sometimes they pretended to release a practitioner but monitored the practitioner 24 hours everyday trying to arrest more practitioners. They not only used plain clothed police, but also bridled practitioners' family members to spy on them. Recently some practitioners were arrested.

They ransacked her home several times and confiscated her property that is worth more than 10,000 Yuan.
