Partial List of Dafa Practitioners Being Held in the Taiyuan Detention Center and Xindian Forced Labor Camp in Shanxi Province


(Clearwisdom.net May 31st News) Below is a list of Falun Gong practitioners in Shanxi Province who were steadfast in practicing Falun Dafa and clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. As a result they were persecuted. Most of them were illegally detained in the Taiyuan City Detention Center, while some were locked up in the Xindian Forced Labor Camp.

Cui Zhongjiang, male, over thirty years old, electrical communications engineer in the Guandi Coalmine in Xishan, Shanxi Province. When the police were chasing after him to arrest him, they fired several gunshots at him and injured Cui's leg. He became crippled from the wound. He is still being detained to date.

Zhang Bin, male, over thirty years old, worked in the Xishan Coalmine Bureau in Shanxi Province. He was arrested at work.

Tang Cunxin, male, over thirty years old, a worker at the Ximing Coalmine.

Zhang Baojun, male, around thirty years old, assistant engineer at the Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Factory.

Pei Xubin, male, over thirty years old, engineer at the Gujiaotunlan Coalmine.

Hou Lijun, male, over thirty years old, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in January 2000, and was later illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. After he was released, he left his home to avoid the persecution, but was arrested again in October.

Kang Suqin, female, over fifty years old, was on two occasions detained and sentenced to forced labor. In 2001, after she was released, she left her home to escape the persecution. In October 2002, she was arrested by a policeman from Wanbolin Police Station from the Hexi District in Taiyuan City. She was detained in the Taiyuan City Detention Center. She persisted in cultivating Falun Dafa and was thus hung up and beaten. She was handcuffed and shackled, and suffered much torture.

Kang Shumei, female, over thirty years old. In October 2002 she was arrested by policemen from the Wanbolin Police Station in the Hexi District. She was locked up in a detention center. Her ten-year-old child was left at home.

Zheng Runye, male, twenty-nine years old, was arrested while he was distributing Falun Dafa truth clarifying literature. He was sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Song Cuiping, female, over thirty years old, is a retired worker from the Xishan No. 8 Coal & Electricity Plant. She was arrested in October 2002 and in December was sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Xu Fancheng, male, over sixty years old, was arrested in 2002 and is now detained in a detention center in Taiyuan City.

Li Fang'e, female, fifty-six years old, was arrested in the Nanjiao area in 2002. As a result, her young children at home were unable to go to school and had no one to take care of them.

Xiang Changjiang, male, sixty-five years old, is a retired worker from the Duerping Coalmine.

Zhang Liwen, female, sixty years old, is a retired worker of a machine repair factory in the Xishan Coalmine. She was arrested while clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa.

Wang Jun'e, female, fifty-eight years old. After she was arrested in October 2002, she walked out with righteous thoughts.

Tian Yunfei, male, thirty-five years old, a worker at the Duerping Coalmine. He was arrested on November 2, 2002 but he escaped with righteous thoughts.

Other Dafa practitioners from Yangcheng County include: Lanlan, female, eighteen years old and Xiaozhao, male, over twenty years old, were both arrested in Taiyuan in October 2002. In April 2003, seven more Dafa practitioners were arrested. Below is the list of some of their names:

Zhao Hongbo, male, over twenty years old, is an undergraduate from Taiyuan University of Technology. He was sent for forced labor because he remained steadfast in his belief in Falun Dafa. He was released after the forced labor term expired, but he was subsequently arrested again.

Li Suoling, female, over forty years old, a villager from Ximing Village in Xishan.

Li Xiulian, female, over thirty years old, a villager from Ximing Village in Xishan.

Cao Zhanqing, male, over fifty years old, a worker at a cement factory in Taiyuan. He and his wife (name unknown), were arrested by officers from the Kaichengli Police Station in Ximing when they were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa.
