Short Stories: The Vegetable Vendor Exclaims, "You Must Be a Falun Gong Practitioner!"

(Clearwisdom.net) A Dafa disciple bought some vegetables, and the way she picked them without preference or choosing only the good quality ones triggered the vegetable vendor's curiosity: "Are you a Falun Gong practitioner?" She replied: "Yes! But how do you know that?" The vegetable vendor remarked: "Your kindness made me think you must be a Falun Gong practitioner."

Another time, the Dafa disciple immediately took one stalk of a vegetable out after she heard the vegetable vendor remark to himself that the scale tilted a bit high. He asked:" What did you do that for?" She answered:" We are not suppose to take advantage of others and if the scale tilted a bit higher it meant I am taking advantage of you." The vendor exclaimed:" You must be a Falun Gong practitioner!"

One time after buying some apples, a Dafa disciple discovered that she didn't bring enough money with her. She asked the vendor if she could take the apples home first and pay him later. The vendor refused her request first but after he learned that she was a Falun Gong practitioner. He said: "Go ahead, Falun Gong practitioners are all trustworthy!"

"Are you still passing out Falun Gong flyers and putting up posters?" the policeman asked. "It's not as difficult as before. People with sound minds understand now," she replied. The policeman smiled at her.

"Are you still telling people about Falun Gong wherever you go?" the policeman asked.

"Usually! Sometimes, others ask me before I get a chance to tell them," she beamed. He continued: "I wanted to ask you when would Falun Gong's Fa-Rectification period end? " The Dafa disciple answered: "Our Teacher said:" The sentient beings need not worry/ Gods and Buddhas are already smiling" (from "Dafa is Good")

Someone suggested: "I know Falun Gong is good! But not spreading Falun Gong anymore would be in your interest." The Dafa disciple was not persuaded: "Someone told me about Falun Gong and I started practicing it and all my illness went away. If I didn't tell you, would you know about it today? There are others who don't know! If everyone knows Falun Gong is good, then more people will benefit by practicing it."

A policeman from Chongqing City always treated Dafa disciples kindly. What happened to him seems miraculous! Quite a few times, he was almost caught in car accidents, yet was freed from danger at the end. One time, his son was driving and the car went out of control, spinning off the road into a tree. The car was badly damaged, yet no one inside was injured. This policeman would tell Dafa disciples with eagerness that he now believed that "good deeds brought good rewards."
