We Are Good People Who Voluntarily Repair Bridges and Roads; In Return We Are Detained and Our Homes Are Ransacked

I began practicing Falun Gong in 1998. After practicing cultivation, I improved both physically and spiritually.

Master taught us, "don't even hit back when you're attacked, or talk back when people insult you." (Zhuan Falun, The Ninth Talk, Enlightenment) We cultivate according to the highest principle of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. We always think of others first and we try to be the best we can be. In fact, it is Master's lectures that taught us to be this way. There was a bridge in our hometown that was damaged with many potholes for more than a year. When any vehicle needed to pass, it had to stop and be pushed across. It was very inconvenient. We used our own money and carried one barrel of sand after another to fill the potholes and repair the bridge. One fellow practitioner after finding 1000 Yuan (2 months average pay for an urban worker) on the street searched for the owner and returned the lost money. We never delay on paying government agricultural tax or other fees. We never compete with others for personal interests. Why does Jiang and his regime insist on brutal persecuting such a large group of good people?

The police have detained us many times without reason. They deceive, threaten, force, beat, curse and extort money from us. Some of our Falun Dafa practitioners' homes are empty because of police extortion. Some of our fellow practitioners could not do the spring planting for 3 years because of illegal detention. They always came to arrest us in the middle of the night, or tricked us away from the field to take us to a detention center. They locked some of us for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years and even longer. According to rumors, they are following Falun Dafa practitioners in Qidong County, Hunan Province and illegally detaining them in detention centers. Those taken away include Jiang Meiying, Zhou Xiaomao, Guan Minglian, Zhang Shuanglong, Qiu Fuxiu, Tan Xinmei, Jiang Yangchun, Zhang Bailin, Guan Shunlian, Guan Shengxuan, Deng Yulu, Liu Zhanbao and Deng Honghua. Jiang Pinglian, Zhou Jianping, Xiao Yafang, Zhou Guangquan, Tan Guofei, Li Baojin, Jiang Youxiang, Gui Fenxiu, Kuang Zhongyao, Luo Xiaohua, Luo Xiaoxian, Tan Jiangyuan, Kuang Daijie, Tan Guiyuan, Guan Hejun, Zhang Shengfa, Zhang Yuanshou, Tan Bangyan, Yan Bing, Zhou (first name unknown), Tan Meiying and others have been detained in a separate center. None have been released yet.

I hope that all people with justice in their hearts will extend a helping hand to stop Jiang and his regime's state-terrorist activities and release all illegally detained Falun Dafa practitioners.

Master just had a birthday. All Falun Dafa practitioners in Qidong County, Hunan Province detained illegally wish great reverent Master Happy Birthday! Master, please rest assured that we will definitely cultivate until the Fa rectifies the human world, and be worthy of your benevolent salvation.
