Nine Dafa Practitioners Who Were Abducted by the Shijiazhuang Police Have All Been Illegally and Secretly Sentenced

(Clearwisdom.net) Around September 28, 2001, nine Shijiazhuang Dafa practitioners, Liu Runling, Yang Xiaojie, Niu Mingang, Shi Yan, Zhang Lingjiang, Zhao Lishan, Zhang Shijun, Lan Qizhi, and Wang Yunman were all illegally and secretly sentenced. In the mean time they are all appealing their sentences.

Dafa practitioner Wang Yunman, who is illegally detained at the No. 2 Detention Center in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, has been on hunger strike continuously for about two months to protest her illegal detention. The vicious people refused to allow her to be bailed out for medical treatment, which has put her life in great danger. She later disappeared, and no one knows her whereabouts.

Dafa practitioner Liu Runling has been illegally transferred to the Shijiazhuang No. 2 Jail. It is said that her hair has turned gray even though she is still young, which reveals the extent of the persecution in the No. 2 detention center.

Shi Yan and Zhang Lingjiang were also abducted and are still being detained at the No. 1 Detention Center. Zhao Lishan and Niu Mingang are illegally detained at the No. 2 Detention Center, and information about the other practitioners is unavailable. Currently, the Shijiazhuang Detention Center is using the "SARS" epidemic as an excuse to stop anyone from sending clothes into the prison; the practitioners under detention there are having very difficult time.
