610 Office and Police Arrest Dafa Practitioners in Huaihua City, Hunan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Since October 1, 2002, members of the "610 Office"* and police officers in Huaihua City, Hunan Province have followed Dafa practitioners, monitored telephone communications and broken into residents' homes to arrest Dafa practitioners and destroy truth-clarification material sites. From last year's National Day (October 1) until March 3, our material site was destroyed twice, which caused a loss of more than 70,000 Yuan**. All of the practitioners running the material site were arrested. They are Yang Xiaohui, Xiang Zaoxia (female), Chen Kaiming, Zheng Hongxia (female), Xiao Guiying (female) and Tang Qingying (female). As of today, the first three above-mentioned practitioners are still illegally detained at Huaihua City No. 2 Detention Center, and the last three are detained at Huaihua City No. 1 Detention Center.

In addition, the following Dafa practitioners were also detained during this period for clarifying the truth about Dafa:

Tan Anju, female, 41 years old, was recently sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor for the second time and detained at Zhuzhou City Baimalong Labor Camp.

Meng Xin, male, in his 20s, was arrested before his wedding. He was sent to Changsha City Xinkaipu Labor Camp immediately after the arrest.

Li Shirong, female, in her 50s, is currently detained at Huaihua City No. 2 Detention Center.

Pan, male, in his 30s, from Yuanling County, is currently detained at the Huaihua City No. 2 Detention Center.

Xiang, female, Hunan Province Nylon Factory worker, was fired for practicing Dafa. Xiang, Shen (female) and Fu (male) were arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials. Xiang and Shen are detained at Zhuzhou City Baimalong Labor Camp, and Fu's situation is unknown.
