- One of the victims was a male Falun Dafa practitioner in his 30s that worked at the Shanxi
Yangquan Mineral Bureau's Fifth Mine. His name is unknown, but we know that his wife, Mrs. Zhang
Wenli was also jailed at one time in Xindian Labor Camp for not giving up her belief in Dafa. This
male practitioner was illegally sentenced to forced labor "re-education" in 2002 and sent
to the Xindian Labor Camp in Taiyuan. After this year's Spring Festival, he went on a hunger strike
for over 40 days to protest the unjust persecution. He was savagely force-fed to death.
- Junior Meng (first name unknown) was 28 years old. He was unlawfully arrested in October 2002
while working on materials that clarify the facts about Falun Dafa. Soon after he went on a hunger
strike to protest the illegal detention he was killed; the details are not yet known.
- A male Falun Dafa practitioner in Shijiazhuang (name unknown) was arrested in Pingyao, Shanxi
Province in October 2002 while preparing truth-clarifying materials. He was afterwards beaten to
death.
We hope that people who know about these cases can supply further details and the names of the
responsible criminals.
