Dafa Practitioners from Canada Travel to Chicago; U.S. Practitioners Begin Hunger Strike in Front of Chinese Embassy

(Clearwisdom.net) June 5 report: Some Dafa practitioners from Canada have gone to Chicago to join in Fa-rectification activites surrounding the lawsuit against the former Chinese president Jiang Zemin, which charges him with genocide. At the same time, some Dafa practitioners in the US began a hunger strike in succession in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. They called for immediate, unconditional release of US citizen imprisoned in China, Dr. Charles Li, and to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

After making arrangements for their daily life, work, study and local truth clarification activities, the practitioners from Canada left on their trip to Chicago. Practitioners who stayed behind will remind each other to intensify their efforts in truth clarification and continuous sending forth of righteous thoughts. Dafa practitioners throughout the US held a series of protest activities and press conferences in front of Chinese Embassy and consulates.

Through studying the Fa and exchanging truth clarification experiences, practitioners have felt all the more that the event of suing the dictator in charge of the persecution against Falun Gong is an extremely important process during truth clarification and saving people.

For almost four years, Dafa practitioners have endured tremendous tribulations. With compassion they have clarified the truth to those whose minds had been poisoned by lies. Every time they expose the evil lies and the brutal persecution, they are clarifying the truth. Currently, clarifying this greatest truth is our most fundamental base of our efforts.

Chicago Dafa practitioners believe that once the judge decides that this case can be upheld and pushes it to the trial phase, the outcome of the trial will be very clear. Jiang Zemin and people from the "610 Office" have committed heinous crimes against Falun Gong. With overwhelming numbers of witnesses and evidence, even Jiang himself realizes that he cannot deny his policy to eliminate Falun Gong and the crimes he has committed in the past nearly four years. The period prior to June 22, 2002, when the judgment is being rendered whether or not this case is legitimate represents the most crucial step in this entire process. Right now we are in the most crucial time period.

Jiang wants to stop the lawsuit "at all costs." Why? From the Fa we understand the evil is most afraid of being exposed. The time when we have made the truth clear to all and have completely exposed the head of the evil is the time when all people will awaken; it is also the time when all evil will be completely eliminated. In the process of Fa-rectification, Dafa practitioners focus their truth clarification efforts on the most fundamental points, and use all means in the human world to completely expose his shameless nature.

The process is closely connected to our efforts to eliminate the evil and rescue Charles Li.
