Starting on June 20 for two consecutive days, I began clarifying the facts to people at a crowded street corner. I am sharing some of my experience as follows.

The place where I work and live is a 5-hour drive from Chicago. Before leaving home, I spent some time on the Internet to learn about some of the local conditions and customs of Chicago. However, it took me 30 minutes to hand out 20 pieces of material during my first time clarifying the truth, and many people refused to take them. I calmed down and looked inside to find that my heart was not righteous enough. I should have had compassion from the bottom of my heart, and I should have thought about Teacher's giving sentient beings this great opportunity. Any pedestrian is one of Teacher's relatives and also one of my relatives. It is not by chance that they went by this street corner today, and I should take every single chance to clarify the truth to them.

After the peak hour passed for people that were going to work, those who came up to me were most likely tourists. From what they wore, I could tell to which sport team they were fans of. I gave them good wishes for their team. Most fans love positive reinforcement from other people and support for their team.

Everyday people's notions never shook my heart. There was a Chinese taxi driver who was saying bad things. He was attacking Dafa, and asked me loudly, "Are you Chinese?" I answered calmly, "I am a Chinese person who knows the facts." He stepped on his accelerator pedal for a quick escape.

In Lecturing on and Explaining the Fa at the Metropolitan New York Fa Conference, Teacher said: "Actually, with a lot of things if you calmly and coolheadedly talk to people and handle those things rationally, you shall find that your wisdom will flow forth like a spring, and every sentence of yours will get right to the point, and every sentence will speak the truth." The more compassionate my heart was, the more powerful were my righteous thoughts, and faster was the speed in my handing truth-clarifying materials to the people. In less than one hour, I gave away 250 copies, while talking to them and sending forth righteous thoughts incessantly. At the same time, I could quickly tell which walk of life each pedestrian belonged to, and then I could find a suitable topic to begin my conversation. As they were leaving with the materials, I sent them good wishes from the bottom of my heart, with the hope that they would have a beautiful future.

After listening to Teacher's Fa lecture on June 22, I really felt we should make good use of our time to save all sentient beings. There are about 200,000 people on the outskirts of the city where I live and I am the only Dafa practitioner there. I should make more effort to clarify the truth. From the conference I took two boxes of truth-clarifying VCDs and materials, which I had to carry 6 blocks to my car. Although the boxes were very heavy I dragged myself along with my teeth clenched. Running up from behind me came four Americans, who wanted to help me carry the boxes. I opened the boxes instantly and offered them some materials. They said they had already received it the day before at the plaza and they really seemed to be people with a predestined relationship. There was a professor who was waiting for a bus, and within about ten minutes I shared with him my experience in my cultivation. Being very interested in what I said, he left me his name card and asked for more than ten sets of material to spread to his students.

Several tourists asked me for directions, and I told them politely that I am not a local resident either; however, I could point them to a healthy road. Then, I told them that after practicing Dafa for five years I have gotten rid of my arthritis, stomach trouble, and heart problem. These people with predestined relationships all took some materials for themselves. Another tourist even asked me where he could learn the practice. I told him how there are free instructions in all main cities of the US, and that he could also find online information with free instruction.
