Two Stories: Fatal Diseases Disappear After Practicing Falun Dafa

An employee at a hospital in Benxi, Liaoning Province had a myocardial infarction and prostatitis. He was told that he needed surgery, which would cost him 70,000 Yuan.* His family borrowed money from everywhere they could, and finally got enough money together to send him for surgery in Shenyang. However, after being examined in Shenyang, he was told by the hospital that it was too late to have surgery. His doctor told him to go back home and find his faith. When he went back and told his family what had happened, one of his relatives who practiced Falun Gong told him to try it, because it is the great Law of mighty virtue. He learned the truth about Falun Gong from this relative and began to practice it, despite the current vicious persecution. After half a month, his diseases were completely gone. He feels both physically and mentally healthy, and has returned to his job. Upon hearing about his case, many of his relatives also want to practice Falun Gong. It was the miracle of Falun Dafa that gave him a second chance at life. Now he and his wife persistently study the Fa and do the exercises every day.

In a village of Hebei Province lives a seventy-three-year-old woman. She used to be in very good health, and was able to work in her farm's field and take care of chores. In early March of 2003, she didn't feel well. A CT-scan revealed that she had an advanced stage of liver cancer. Her family couldn't bear to tell her the truth, and were helpless to do anything but give her medicine and prepare the clothes for her funeral. All the people in her village knew that it was a fatal disease, and that it was simply a matter of time until her death.

Her daughter, who lives in a city, went back to see her sick mother. She told her mother that Falun Dafa is the great universal Law that teaches one how to be a good person and how to truly cultivate oneself. She also told her mother not to listen to the nonsense on TV and to remember "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and that "Falun Dafa is righteous." The elderly woman could not read, so her daughter read Falun Dafa books and played recordings of the lectures for her. A few days later, the elderly woman could move around and eat her meals. She felt much better, and her cancer was gone. She even went to a fair in a neighboring village. Through her case, all the people in her village learned that Falun Dafa is great.

This elderly woman now saves her money to make truth-clarification materials in order to let more people know that Dafa is great.

* Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.
