Ms Diao Jing, 46 years old, was a staff member of the Changchun Railway, Jilin Province. She
lived in the area covered by the Xisantiao Street Police Station.
After July 20 in 1999, she was illegally taken to a forced labor camp for going
to appeal for Falun Dafa in Beijing. Upon her release from the labor camp, the police took her away
from home again without charges to a brainwashing class. Not cooperating with the evil persecution,
she tried to escape from the 3rd floor and was unfortunately seriously injured. Still,
she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the police even while she herself was suffering
severe pain. Thereafter, the police never stopped harassing her.
During the "Two Meetings" period (People's Congress Meeting and Political Consulting
Meeting) in March 2003, the police continued to harass her at home, while she was confined to bed
and in a condition of being unable to care for herself.
Due to the persecution and long term harassment from the local police, Diao Jing finally left
this world in agony on May 5, 2003.
