Last night after sending forth righteous thoughts, I lay in bed for a long time trying to go to sleep. As I lay there I recited the Fa-rectification formula in my heart. At that point I heard what seemed to be somebody opening the door outside. I was a little nervous. I wondered if it was a thief so I asked my husband to listen and check it out.
As my husband went downstairs to check on things, I heard the door open. My husband said, "What's up?" Then a brash voice said, "I need to check your ID." My husband replied, "OK! OK!" Then he went to look for his ID. I heard the person walking into the room and I closed my eyes to hear what was going on. I felt more and more tension. Suddenly, a thought came into my head: "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated." At that moment, the Fa-rectification formula that I was reciting was automatically sent out! Then all of a sudden, the intruder checking the ID, the sound of the door, the dialog between my husband and I--all the things I heard--all disappeared! It turned out this was just a dream. But this dream was extremely real! It was weird because the scenery in my dream was exactly the same as my house, and because I had been thinking that I was awake and did not fall asleep at all.
Right now I am very clear-headed. I wonder why I had such a dream? In the dream, the first thoughts of mine were not righteous, so later, the thoughts and the actions were not right. All of them were transformed following my mind-intent. Fortunately, my righteous thoughts came out and all of the images disappeared at once. After jumping out of this event, I understood the cause and effect.
I found that I really haven't gotten a good understanding of Teacher's article "Melt into the Fa" (Essentials For Further Advancement). Only by looking at the problem with righteous thoughts can the problem be solved fundamentally. Now I understand that if I want to maintain a state of looking at the problem with righteous thoughts, then I should keep my main consciousness clear--namely to melt into the Fa. If I want to keep my main consciousness clear, I must keep studying the Fa with a clear head every day! There is no other option! Only when I study the Fa calmly can I truly achieve the effect of sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth. This is the fundamental guarantee through which we can reach consummation.
This is my enlightenment at my level. It is to encourage other practitioners.
