On their way to a hospital for medical treatment, an elderly retired couple from a city in Shandong Province obtained help from a Falun Dafa practitioner. The practitioner explained the facts about Falun Gong to them and gave them a truth-clarifying VCD as they said goodbye to each other.

After a short period of time, one day, the practitioner came across the elderly couple at the gate of a park, where they were taking a walk. The three of them went to a lawn and sat down. "We have read the flyer and watched the VCD you gave us last time several times. What they said make sense. No wonder the common people called the CCTV's program the 'Lie-Telling on Focal Issues,'" said the elderly gentleman.

He continued, "Young man, I saw from the VCD you gave me, that Falun Gong is practiced in more than 50 countries. It also introduced to me that Falun Gong is dramatically effective in healing and fitness. My wife and I are old, can we also practice Falun Gong?"

"Sure, you can! No matter how old you are, young or old, male or female, as long as you follow the principles of 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance' that Teacher taught us, you will experience the effect. I also have the VCD of Teacher's instruction of the five-sets of exercises. Would you like to take it?" The gentleman reverently received the VCD and said, "Thank you. I really have encountered a benefactor!"

One day in May 2003, the practitioner met the elderly gentleman again who was riding a bicycle and carrying his little granddaughter. They chatted while walking and went to the riverside to sit on a rock bar. "Last year you gave us the exercise-introduction VCD. My wife and I learned from it and have been doing the exercises everyday. Now, my lower back and my legs don't feel pain anymore. I can also look after my son's child. Previously, because I suffered from illnesses, I brought lots of troubles to my son and his wife. Now, it is me who is helping them. I even took my granddaughter to attend this year's kite show and enjoyed the performances. I also rode my bicycle to a district to visit my old friend whom I had not seen for many years and told him that it was Falun Dafa that healed my illness. Teacher gave me a healthy body. It is really a good practice!"

The elderly gentleman said, "One day in the spring, around 8 pm, a young practitioner came to our residential compound to paste posters reading, 'Falun Dafa is good', and 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.' I took a stool out from my home and asked him to stand on it and to paste the posters on the walls on both sides of my door." He continued, "Young man, I have a wish. Would you please write a letter on my behalf to send my greetings to respected Teacher Li Hongzhi? Please tell people from all over China and the world, that 'Falun Dafa is good!'"

As I was writing this, tears streamed down my face. I truly felt Teacher's boundless compassion, which encouraged me to clarify the truth and offer salvation to sentient beings, so as to fulfill the sacred mission that Dafa has bestowed upon Dafa disciples.
