Famous Bridge Engineer Wu Yifeng is Illegally Sentenced to Prison for Practicing Falun Gong

Changchun Dafa practitioner Wu Yifeng is a famous bridge engineer. In October 2000, he was abducted by the No. 2 Detention Center in Changchun City, Jilin Province, and sentenced to nine years in prison. During his illegal detention, the Changchun City Mayor asked for his release in person because he was needed for a project. But his company said, "As long as he writes a pledge, his job will be reinstated and his salary compensated." Since this practitioner steadfastly holds on to his belief, he didn't agree to any of the conditions offered. In the end, he was sent back to the No. 2 Detention Center in Changchun.
